Reviews of Palace Theatre
"Lovely popcorn, clean bathrooms, comfy seating"
"Great experience overall for our first official movie since the pandemic. They just did a remodel of the lobby, concessions, bathrooms, and carpeting. We were in the back theatre, and they hadn't replaced the old seats (at least not yet), but I hope they do; the padding is worn enough that your tailbone starts to ache after the first hour of the movie, and they don't tilt or recline. The concessions, though, are great, especially with their new and incredibly delicious CHOCOLATE POPCORN!!!! The staff were quick and friendly. The new website lets you not only buy your tickets in advance but also allows you to choose your exact seats. Very nice addition. The new bathrooms feature clean and more spacious individual toilets and a large central handwashing sink. All of which is well lit and tidy. Excellent work by the renovation crew and big thank you to the theater owners for the improvements. Can't wait to come back for more movies!!!"
"Love this theatre. Nice and cozy with great staff. Aaron is awesome and really cares about the community. Kristin is always welcoming. Grab some popcorn and a pop, sit back and enjoy."
"Despite being a smaller movie that isn’t up to the standards of mainland theaters with greater selections, Palace theater does exactly what it promises; serving a small town with the most interesting movies, engaging the community by responding to movie requests, and providing a good sound and visual experience."
"Reasonable prices good popcorn. But it’s hard to accept that when outside of this theater setting the other owner (the wife) comes off/appears to be prejudice. I won’t be putting any more of my money into this theatre especially for a individual who treats people of color as if they’re beneath her in their own place of business. Treat others as you wish to be treated especially if you’re asking for a service to be provided for you. God bless your troubled heart."
