"Management changed, lost our lease. Charged us to apply to move in to the apartment we'd been in for 2 years, also hitting our credit score. Management is spectacularly unhelpful. Ismet is great. Absolutely no issues with him at all. Amazing work."
"The new management here at the Luxe at Meridian is Awesome! Taylor, our new manager is very friendly and knowledgeable. In the short time she has been here she has taken the bull by the horn and made us who live here feel like we are important and part of a community. She listens to everything you have to say and does her best to fix what needs to be fixed in a timely manner. To give an example of the type of caring manager she is tonight she put on a Thanksgiving dinner for all the tenants with all the trimmings. Cooked it all herself and boy was it good!! Iamet, our maintenance guy, is wonderful and really knows how to fix everything! He is always pleasant/friendly and right there when you need something taken care of in your apartment and/or the apartment building and grounds. He really works hard around here so we have a wonderful place to live. With Taylor & Ismet on board this is a wonderful community to live in. Thank you both for making it that way."
"*This is a long and detail review with pictures, but I just need to leave an honest review in hopes that no on else has to go through what my husband and I had to tolerate living here. My husband and I just moved out this March, 2019. We lived here for almost two years. We originally moved in because it was a bigger apartment for more affordable rent compared to other areas in Seattle. The tour we did looked great, the staff seemed wonderful, so we signed the lease. When moved in to our actual unit, unfortunately the only clean thing about the unit was that they had put in new carpet. other than this, there was dust, debris, hair, etc. all over the apartment and it appeared that no thorough cleaning had ever taken place before we moved in. I have attached some pictures to show you the mold, the bathroom, and other crevices of the apartment that were completely filthy. After I complained to management, they did send someone to get it cleaned up but it took several attempts, and it is beyond me that they handed over keys to a new tenant with how gross the apartment unit was. Management 100% is false advertising on their website and with their display unit that they have potential tenants tour before signing the lease. Then, as the weather grew colder (We moved in August, so we didn't have this issue until about end of September) we started to notice that our windows were leaking and had extreme condensation, causing mold. Nothing we did worked. We would keep the windows and doors open, per managements suggestions, even during cold, dreary days, but management simply refused to spend any money on resolving this issue. We had mold growing in our unit due to the failure of a building fixture, yet the onsite management literally chose to do nothing. It was not until I looked up the phone number online for the regional management office for the property management company at the time and left several voicemails for the regional manager, did something happen. All they were able to get approval for was to change out only one panel. The rest of the panels continued to leak the entire time we stayed in this building. The only other thing management offered to do was provide us with a humidifier, but that was also only after we demanded them to help as they were required too. Please see attached photos of this. The windows are EXTREMELY old, and the Landlord needs to replace them. We ended up moving out in March of 2019, finally, due to a mentally unstable neighbor right next door to us. We originally moved in in August, and she moved in that September. Since day one of her moving in, she harassed us, stalked us, cussed us out repeatedly. Not only us, but SEVERAL other tenants in the building. We had it the worst cause we shared our balcony with her. We could not afford to just break our lease and move out, so we video recorded, email documented absolutely everything our neighbor did. This neighbor violated our rights so many times we lost count. We called the police on her 5 times and gave all this information, well documented to management. We even met with the president of the current management company, Pinnacle. Basically, they did not want to do anything to address this issue because it would cause them to go to court, and of course they did not want to pay any legal fees. So they continued to violate our tenant rights just because of their lack of ability to handle the situation appropriately. Overall the building smells like a nasty casino, the HVAC has horrible ventilation/filtration so the building smells absolutely disgusting all day long. The rental rates are lower here than most places, but they are not low enough to deal with how horrible this building is, and how awful upper management is. The two managers in the onsite office are very nice, however I don't feel that they have any support from upper management. Pinnacle took over management of this building in 2018 I believe, and are the current managers. Such nightmare of a management company. I would never recommend living her."
"PROS: Everyone in the leasing office was nice. CONS: The neighbors were awful, I was robbed on multiple occasions, and my personal favorite - the place is literally filled with bed bugs. They were there PRIOR to my move in and I was not informed of the situation. They were still there when I left a year and a half ago. Because management refuses to treat the building all at once, I imagine that this is still a problem. Unfortunately, a unit by unit solution will never eradicate the issue. I would highly recommend asking about pest control and any problems they may have prior to moving in."
"Honestly not a bad place. Everyone who goes online to write complaints are people who have botched their lease and don't know how to read. If you want a no-nonsense apartment complex I recommend them. If you follow the rules and have your s*** together then everything will be great. The grounds-guy is amazing and super helpful. The new management is working pretty hard to fix a few of the design problems of the building but I've been there two years and thought I would counteract all the whining that's going on. It's probably not the best place you can find in the city but it's definitely not worth the complaining I see on the internet."
