"Let me just start by saying I have been here since the beginning. Management has come and go. Of course you have the people/kids who always cause problems. But you’re gonna get that anywhere you go! I’ve never had any issues but due to life that was out of my control I then needed to speak to management and the office. SUSAN has been amazing and helped me through a very difficult and stressful event. Ive never had any interactions with the office as I’ve never had any issues. But the fact that they called me and was helping me through this when an issue arose. I’m sad she is leaving this property. But where ever she goes they are lucky to have her. THANK YOU SUSAN!"
"Overall this is the worst rental experience I have endured. I have been stole from my patio and car on multiple occasions. My office lady just walked into my apartment with no announcement. They set the fire alarms off to the buildings (they posted a letter but set them all off over a half hour prior and told us to deal with it). My dryer actually flooded the hall with no explanation or fixing. My dishwasher shorts and sets the breakers off (I put in a work order and left for months at a time without a working machine) my dishwasher has incomplete cycles all the time but I always have to put a new work order in and cause it starts fine they leave, it shorts and I need a new work order again repeating the not working cycle. I don’t have a microwave as described. I never saw a unit or floor plan prior to move in. You can hear every time your neighbor flushes, showers and washes hands in your bedroom. Bedrooms are small, not much storage and not secure storage especially since it’s outside access. Cars are broken into routinely no one helps with security, the video cameras are separately ran and the office has to ask the surveillance company for the video taking time away from helping with any crime. They allow children to harass residence and pets resulting in multiple types of confrontations over the years. The office tells you “ go back inside your unit because we can’t stop the children from doing that” these kids also bark at peoples dogs that are secure in there homes taunting them. Homeless often dig in the garbage cans, lite fires and string garbage over the property. People dump garbage often while the office is open and watching and doesn’t stop them. Also the garbage has been a constant struggle for this place. It’s always overflowed. At some points it’s been 3 fr tall and 3 ft past the vestibule for the garbage bins. The amenities were closed for covid and we were all still charged for normal rent. The moment rent could be raised they made my rent $500 more than the same unit: I’m charged more for 2 bedroom 1 bath than a 3 bedroom 2 bath. A woman lit her kitchen on fire then locked the door behind her trying to burn the complex's down thankfully we had a neighbor who acted fast! I hope no other families attempt to live here it’s not safe, well built or are the residents cared for. The maintenance crew has been by far the only good part of this place! Office crew for the last 6yrs since opening has not been fun. Each lady or gentleman has had an attitude problem or acts stupid. Also they call you and ask you to come in, when you do they have no idea why you came in and have you fill out paperwork that doesn’t match why they called. The office manager has a reputation for embezzlement but yet she’s in charge of ….. judge for yourself but good luck to future anyone here…"
"I’ve been living at Gateway by Vintage for about 4 years. I’ve never had any trouble and have enjoyed my stay so far. Staff in the office are friendly, courteous and accommodating. The units are comfortable and very nice! Every time I have a maintenance issue, maintenance responds in a timely manner and addresses the problem promptly and efficiently. My family and I are happy here! If there was only one concern…is the parking. Parking is first come first serve..so at times it can be frustrating to find parking near our apartment unit complex."
"The apartments are really nice and the office staff have always been kind and helpful. Mine was very clean and no smells. The apartments are not insulated well at all. They are freezing during the winter especially the floor. There is a group of kids who run around all hours of the day & night. They mess with cars, tear up the stairwells and are scream obscenities to each other. They ride on the top of moving cars, have punched toddlers, and are having fight circles at night. The small park is broken as well. They have a pool and it was really nice during the summer. Parking where I’m at has always been good. People do vandalize cars. I had a person slam their car door into mine several times until she dented my car. My son watched it and told me but she’d left before I was able to get outside. Overall, I have recommended it to several people. I wish the small things, that are fixable, would be handled."
"Very affordable, very gorgeous apartments. Unfortunately I live in a lower level unit my upper neighbor is very loud all hours of the night, no one cleans up their dogs poop, trash is all over the place i always see the maintenance ppl working hard to empty it all, and the kids that play outside are disrespectful and rude. I don't blame the apartments for any of it but it's just what goes on. I've tried to move units but you have to reapply and pay like you're a brand new tenant which I can't afford to do it again."
