"March 2023: My partner and I moved in here 2 years ago. We read all the bad reviews about the move out process and figured it couldn’t be that bad so decided to move in. Bad mistake!! Not only did they take our whole deposit but also charged us $545 on top of that for bogus items. We deep cleaned the apartment before we left and nothing was damaged that wasn’t already damaged. I specially asked to be there for the walk through to avoid this and they agreed and then never followed up. The owner Lindsay consistently made promises and never followed through both in our move out process and when our apartment flooded. Front desk staff and maintenance workers are super lovely and the only highlight. If you move in here I would set aside at least $1000 for move out even if you leave the place spotless. January 2024: Just editing this to add that it has now been 9 months since we moved out and I am still communicating with the Maverick weekly to try and remove the bogus charges. They have been almost completely unwilling to work with me (only knocked off $100)."

"I've lived at the Maverick for 2 years now, and it's the best experience I've ever had with an apartment complex over the many years I have been renting. The maintenance is always on top of things, either responding to requests same day or the day after. The ladies in the leasing office (Jill, Kendra, and Lindsey) are so helpful and easy to work with, and I hope to stay friends with them after I move. The truly telling thing is how much my dog loves all the staff members at The Maverick. My dog is a good judge of people. She does not like everybody and will let you know if she doesn't like you. She LOVES all the Maverick employees, especially Lindsey. She will stand in the lobby and cry if she can't go see her. It's a bit ridiculous. Over all, my experience at the Maverick has been amazing from the amenities and events to the people and service. I would highly recommend living here."

"This is the best apartment complex I have ever lived in!! Leasing staff, management, maintenance crew - they are all so helpful and friendly. I know the units are on the spendy side, but it’s so worth it to have such great management. I feel safe, the building is always clean, the tenants have a great sense of community without ever being invasive. I don’t ever want to leave!"

"My wife and I moved into this apartment two years ago. Everything was great because we never needed anything and they never bothered us. The maintenance team was probably the best we had from this place. I should’ve read the reviews on here that Pillar management robs you of your deposit when you move out. They charge bogus charges. They charged us for new carpet that was dirty before we moved in, including fees that were never explained. Management was rotated out seems like every few months. Nobody really responded to any of our needs Including Lindsay the owner. She lies saying she would get back to you, but never does. The garage always has homeless people wandering in, no security. Very expensive for the area. Would not recommend, we are still waiting on our measly $400 reimbursement for three months now."
