I do agree that dealing with the office staff is sometimes frustrating (like the negative review), but as a former Swedish employee, I know that is completely out of an individual provider's purview and should be taken up with Swedish Ballard admin. "Absolutely unacceptable I waited months for an appt; I got one… it was rescheduled. I got call 6 hours before my rescheduled new patient appt to tell me we need to reschedule. Again. Horrible. I have serious concerns that have been developing since before Covid 2020 to address. A tele visit was offered. Unacceptable. To diagnosis my problems I need someone’s hands in there. I need tests with reliable results… not paying for more talking. Furious about my appt being cancelled, no apology, no call from dr… I have to start all over again. This isn’t the first time, nor the first time I’ve wondered if they even read what’s in my chart before asking or making suggestions. (I used to go to Harborview in 2019 when symptoms began; I wanted to get second opinion, specialized care. Dr. Fuller was highly recommended by Dr Wolfe (urologist there.) My first intake with Dr. Wolfe was fab. After that, all visits were mediocre or downhill for overall experience. Since going to Swedish for bladder issues w Dr Wolfe, who is now out on maternity leave, I’ve had nothing but scheduling problems & conflicting information. I loved Dr Wolfe…but then my cystoscopy hurt more than I think it should have. I read they don’t usually… no way of knowing because my follow up never happened… She was having a baby. My follow was with a nurse practitioner. She was the most frustrating appt I’ve had in a long time, though sweet disposition & person. (I was in fatal car crash so I’ve seen plenty of doctors to have a reliable opinion.) I needed some answers. The solution was to wait for another ultrasound 6 months later & to see forge ahead to Dr Fuller … and here I sit with the same problems still intensifying. Another practitioner left a message. Someone mentioned a hysteroscopy … More confusion. Upon the results of ultrasound, I was told I have no fibroids, but ultrasound was hard to read… wanted me to repeat. Never have I had an ultrasound (had several at HVM) unable to read. I was told I have two large fibroids by HvM gyno in 2019. Yes, I learned ON MY Own Googling fibroids can shrink, to no help from anyone at Swedish. Furthermore, each time I had an interaction w 3 particular girls at the desk, unless it involved their need, I was out of luck with an attitude. I complained to the assistants & doctor as well. When you’re at you’re worst, you don’t need their impatience, and almost passive aggressive replies to your problems or questions or needs. You are not there to bother them so you should not be treated so. It’s healthcare for goodness sake. Have a little heart. (Don’t even get me started on their capability of confirming my correct HMO provider number—- ) Would be nice to know what’s going on in my body as well as this office location. If they write a reply I am NOT responding. It looks like you are great Dr. Fuller, but I will never know at this rate."

"Dr. Fuller is down to earth, incredibly knowledgable, upbeat, listens, asks questions, and is very thorough. I’ve been to both of her Swedish sites (first hill and Ballard) and the staff are all top notch! They respond to me very quickly through mychart. I couldn’t be happier with the care I’m receiving.
