"I honestly don't even know where to begin with this place... If I could give zero stars, I would. I can't even count how many issues we had here in the span of 6 months. From minor things like the toilet not flushing correctly, to major things like pipes bursting and a team of construction workers having to come in and drill up our bathroom floor for two days, things broke left and right. They are definitely price gouging with charging $1270/mo for 480 square feet plus the $100+ for w/s/g that they don't even cover, AND all of the hidden fees they like to add on after you sign the lease, like $50 for a fob to access the rec area that they claimed was included in the price of rent. The pricing is ridiculous for a high crime area that often seems to have DV cases (our neighbors often had the cops showing up at their door) and a homicide that happened back in August. Management sucks and I even had someone there make some questionable remarks towards me at one point-- the only person I interacted with that was actually kind and helpful, was Serena. My advice is to not let their discounts and "specials" catch your eye because that's how they got me and my roommate... It's not worth it and you're better off at one of the other many places around the city. NOT A FAMILY FRIENDLY PLACE, AT ALL! Steer clear."
"One of the worst apartments I've ever lived at, and their prices make it so much worse. We were in a 1 bed 1 bath, they don't cover water, sewer, or garbage, so we're paying an extra $100+ a month on top of $1270 for a measly 480 square feet. We've had so many issues from flooding and leaking, to random things breaking. Every single appliance that was here when we moved in has had something go wrong with it (except the fridge). When we moved in, we found several things broken and some things not very clean. Cupboard handles easily popped off, our toilet didn't flush properly (I fixed most of these minor problems myself). We've had a couple billing issues too, and we've only been here 6 months! Maintenance people and Serena are very nice, but we had an issue with an employee making some extremely rude comments towards my roommate after asking politely about maintenance issues. With how much trouble we've had living here, it is nowhere near worth the price, especially if you're paying ~$1400 or more for 480 square feet, no counter space, no dishwasher, no patio, and the hot water heater taking up a large portion of 1 of the 2 closets. Also be prepared to do dishes every day due to a very shallow sink. Just complete price gouging. We sincerely appreciate the 2 free months rent deal given to us upon move in, but that's about it, and that was the only reason we moved here. The amenities seemed nice, but the rec area was closed for several months after we moved in, so pretty useless. Plus upon it reopening required a $50 deposit for a key fob, which wasn't even mentioned on our lease. When we asked about some of the issues we were having, the property manager told us that since "the property was built in 1968" it somehow makes them exempt from performing ANY preventative maintenance?? What about renovation? Building upkeep? Property inspections? We asked them about this because we had a problem with some pipes in our kitchen sink breaking, causing flood damage to our personal items, and we were unable to use the kitchen sink for several days. They had to have our entire bathroom floor torn up, only for us to find out it's a common problem here because it's an old building. If they knew this would happen, why didn't they fix it before we moved in? They will only fix major things like this when they are broken, not on the verge of broken, thus causing extreme inconvenience to the tenant. These guys definitely put the dollar before the tenant here. ~$1400 for how little we get is so frustrating. Classic price gouging. Just because that's where the majority of the renting market is right now, doesn't make price gouging ethical! Please remember this, readers!"
"If you enjoy overpriced rent for an apartment that's not worth it, over-charged fees on literally anything, property management that treat you like an animal, carpets with a decade worth of dirt, and rules that make you feel like you're living in a prison cell, and having your car broken in to or stolen, this place is for you. Not to mention the crime activity in the area to include kidnapping, murder, and domestic violence. The only person working in that office that is worth talking to is Serena. Maintenance guys are pretty cool too. Don't waste your time or money with this place."
"I'm currently in the process of moving in and I honestly don't have to much to complain about I am in a small 1bd 1bath.. the main pool and indoor pool are the only ones available at this time. The fitness center and amenities along with the 2nd outdoor pool is currently closed, I'm assuming it's because they are putting a new security system in the fitness area, and I believe everything is connected over there. The staff have been super nice no complaints about them as of yet. As far as the apartment my biggest complaints are needing more cupboards and counter space, and a dishwasher would be nice. I hate doing dishes by hand so gotta start that again. There seems to be plenty of light coming in naturally and my neighbors seem very nice and friendly I am looking forward to being a long time resident and I recommend these apartments as your new home too."
"I had an amazing experience while living at MorningTree Park! I don’t know why they’re so many haters talking trash about these apartments! From the moment I stepped in that office I knew that this was place I was meant to be. Sarina, Paula, and Danielle exceeded my expectations. Anytime I had any issues, general questions, or concerns they were quick to find a solution and make me feel comfortable with going about making decisions. They were always so welcoming & friendly, and very professional. Maintenance was always on point! As soon as I put a work order in they would be there the next day to fix the problem. Very beautiful serene, secluded neighborhood. Pretty quiet for the most part. They’re older apartments, but well maintained. They keep the grounds up as far as landscaping goes too! Neighbors were respectful, kind, and generous. Just an overall good place to be in my opinion."
