St. Theodore on Roosevelt Apartments

"I just moved out of the St Theodore after living there for 2 1/2 great years! The location is lovely, the facilities are very nice (it was originally condos so the units are nicer than standard apartment buildings) & the staff is GREAT. I'm writing this review because of the way Rachel went above & beyond when I accidentally shipped a package to the St Theodore after moving. She offered to ship it out for me if I just bought a flat rate label & emailed it to her. She's just fantastic - head & shoulders above any previous apartment manager I've had."

"This building is fantastic! Good value per square footage, nice appliances, plenty of storage/closet space, good layout, and big windows. It's in a good spot in the growing Roosevelt/Ravenna area near Whole Foods, diverse restaurants and close to I-5/public transportation. The best value for a 1BR that I found in the area. In the future, it will be very close to the new Roosevelt light rail stop. Jane, the building manager, is BY FAR THE BEST apartment manager my wife and I have ever had. Great communication with tenants, pizza parties in the lounge and any maintenance requests were promptly dealt with. We had zero issues with management. We lived on the 5th floor on the south side of the building and could see Mt. Rainier from our balcony. The new apartment building being constructed on the south side will sadly block views of downtown, but overall this is a wonderful building to live in thanks to great management, neighbors and value."

"We've lived here about six months and it's basically the best. The management is fantastic and everyone is super friendly. I'm not sure what's up with old reviews, maybe there was a recent change? Either way, our apartment is incredible compared to similarly priced units elsewhere. The only downside is that it's a slightly older building and lacks a lot of the amenities seen in more modern buildings, but if you aren't obsessed with a sky lounge and business center and yoga studio physically in your building and you just want a nice apartment, this is a great place to be."

"Take my advice, do not live here. The management has changed numerous times, yet they all find a way to be rude and unhelpful. There was construction which blocked access to our balcony for over 3 months (during summer time) and they did not do one thing to remedy the situation. The build quality of the building is very poor and it is far from a luxury apartment. Not to mention, they will screw you over with fixing up the place after you move out. We lived in that apartment for two years and yet we still had to pay for a new carpet? $400 for paint when there was no wall damage. Those two years were some of the most unpleasant of my life. Take my advice, please."
