"AWFUL! Quick and to the point, rushes your appointment, you try and talk to her about your body and family history and she blows you off likes it’s no big deal! I went to her for years and I look back now and don’t know why I didn’t switch sooner. There are so many other doctors out there who are so much better and want to help you and are willing to listen to you!"
"I'm surprised by the negative reviews on here. Dr. Kyle was my OB for both my kids. She was always very understanding of my concerns and attentive to my problems. She is very kind and I never felt rushed at any of my appointments with her. She would always respond if I ever had any questions submitted through the portal. I would recommend Dr. Kyle."
"I had a very negative experience with Dr. Rebecca Kyle today. The entire appointment felt extremely rushed and like her only aim was to get me out of her office as quickly as possible. Dr. Kyle was dismissive of my concerns about potential side effects of a medication, and when I asked to see the list of side effects I was told “it’s better if you don’t because they will scare you off from taking the medication.” I feel as though it is unprofessional to expect a patient to pay for a prescription without being informed of the way the drug works and the potential consequences. I expressed multiple times to Dr. Kyle that I had a history of sexual abuse and that I wanted to be treated gently during the examination, and these requests were ignored entirely. I was explicitly lied to by Dr. Rebecca Kyle about the side effects of a drug I was prescribed- Dr. Kyle told me in her own words that the medication did not have weight gain and depression as a side effect. Later (after insisting 3 or 4 times) I was given a pamphlet on the drug, which listed both weight gain and depression as common side effects. I walked out of the office shaking and crying and filed a complaint with the administrative office. They were kind, but basically told me “that’s just Dr. Kyle’s personality.” If you are seeking professionalism and quality care, my advice would be to steer clear."
"My wife and I really like Dr Kyle. We had her for our first child and again now for our 2nd. As I read the first very negative review here, I realize that she may not be the best choice for everyone. Dr Kyle seems very no nonsense to me. She is direct and to the point. She is not one to hold your hand and comfort you with all your fears about pregancy. Perhaps she feels that you are about to become a mother and need to toughen up. Or perhaps she sees so many mothers and child births that she realizes the bad things we fear are more rare than we imagine. I think it is very fair to say that her bedside manner will not appeal to everyone out there. My wife prefers Dr Kyle's honest and direct approach however, and I like it as well. I also like how she seems to live in the real world and will give her opinions what you should truly avoid and what precautions may be more likely "wifes' tales" and/or outdated ideas. And hey, I think her being short and direct with patients keeps her on schedule so we never have to wait forever like you always have to with some other doctors. For that reason alone, I like her."
"Dr. Rebecca Kyle is inconsiderate and rude. During my first appointment with her she told me that I shouldn't take any precautions during my at risk pregnancy. Such as: eat fish, smoke cigarettes, take any type of medication, sit in hot-tubs, or any other thing that anyone else tells you to avoid. She also said that no person should ever try to talk to a Dr. before 10 weeks because Dr's don't really care before that point. As I sat in her office almost in tears she looked at me with apathetic glances. As I left the appointment I thought maybe I was being irrational, but I had been recording the appointment so my partner could listen when I get home, but as I re-listen to the recording I realized that I was giving her benefit of the doubt the entire time, and I should have been more assertive. If you want a Dr. that is going to care about you she is not the one for you."
