Reviews of Park Tower Apartments
"Very nice place to live, the water view is amazing, I had to move and they returned the full amount of the security deposit, that is something I never seen before! but I was also taking care of the Appartment and clean it very well before I moved. I would recommend high floors!! Thank you for being nice and friendly properly management:)"
"I lived here a few years ago. Moving in and maintenance were wonderful. The desk person was great. The manager was very problematic and at times - harassful. They were nice while touring others but would not listen or take in opinions when it was just you in the office. Peggy would take pictures of your packages if she thought they were suspicious."
"I moved here for a job and had to find a apartment fast. Peggy and Brittany were a great help and I signed a lease the day after viewing the apartment. The staff were very nice, any maintenance issues were taken care of immediately. I was in a newer model so it was a bit more expensive but the upgrades (hardwood floors, new kitchen, washer/ dryer) were worth it. I always felt safe with a key needed for the front door and each apartment. Don't pay for parking, there is always plenty of street parking available. After the year lease is up you can move to mont-to-month which is super nice. The only thing I would rate it slightly down for is having to pay monthly for the package room, which most other complexes don't require, and only getting a very small portion of my security deposit back despite no big issues (though thats pretty much the norm anywhere)."
"I've waited a while to leave a review only to do a proper comparison of Park Tower and my most recent Apartment Complex. I resided Park Tower for well over a year, and because of my job I had to move. All I can say is, Peggy and the rest of the team at Park Tower has made my experience living there wonderful, and memorable. I love the location of the building. You're walking distance from the hot spots of Tacoma (Mcmenamins, Rein Haus and more!) The building is safe, and secure. The residents are wonderful, and never had any issues with my neighbors or floormates. The views were amazing. I loved waking up to beautiful sunrises throughout all seasons and it was amazing to gaze at the Tacoma and the port every day! Is the small trash chute as read by previous reviews inconvenient? Sure. Do some units lack their own laundry machines? They're working on it. All of those small inconveniences pale in comparison when it comes to the great service, hospitality and help that you get from the Park Tower team. By far, the best apartment community I've lived at!"
"Nice apartments! We lived on the 8th floor with a beautiful view. 3 people in a 2 bedroom was not the best situation but fresh out of college and new to the workforce, we made it work. PROS: The view for sure. It was so beautiful to wake up to and go to bed to the mountain and a red orange sky. I loved it. Our apartment had a giant closet that was amazing, especially with 3 people. Being close to downtown was great. It took about 10 to 15 minutes to walk down to Pacific Ave (warning: the uphill walk back can be rough) and if you don't want to go too far The Hub and Doyle's are right there. The Thriftway is also a convenient walk away. The staff was always friendly and helpful. The laundry room always had a spot open. CONS: Parking. Since you are in such a busy area there are limited spaces and you are lucky to find a spot. Parking up near Wright Park I was more likely to find something but my car did get scraped along the side once because the road is so narrow. They do offer parking spots in another lot so I would get one if you don't want to circle the block for a place! The windows have no screens on them which I found weird and inconvenient. I can't remember if they told us their reasoning behind it but bugs were able to come in easily. The people above us were loud and someone always sounded angry- but can't blame this on the apartment. The trash chute was comically small. It might be best to get a smaller trash can and bags and have to empty it more frequently than to shove a normal sized one down there. One of the walls in my bedroom would get kind of wet and I had to move things away from it so definitely do some mold precaution."
