"My apartment was newer and was in a good location. But Cooperwood does have shady tenants. I noticed drug dealings and gang activity. Kids hanging out at 2 or 3 in the morning outside my apartment. Women allow their booty calls to come over and park in my paid parking space. One of the managers might have been racist."

"I have lived in Copper Wood for 5 years, my experience was great, I never had a problem with neighbors. I just wanted to give a shout out to the maintenance staff who worked so hard to keep the community clean and always on time to fix the damage every time i put in an order. Although the trash was everywhere but thanks to the staff who tried their best to clean up . I truly appreciate staff and manager for their hard work. previous Tenant (H105)"

"I do not live at Copper Wood however my niece does and I visit her often. The units are decently sized, however the property doesn't tend to their work orders in a timely manner. My niece has had the same broken appliances for several months now and they still haven't sent anyone to fix them or to even look at them. The colored office lady was very rude to me when she approached me a while back concerning my services dog. I would not recommend this property to anyone."

"The Apartments are very nice, however; the walls are not soundproof at all between floors. Had problems with noisy neighbors above me that never slept at night and had traffic in and out of their unit. Someone broke into my vehicle and stole everything inside of it when I lived there. Be aware of your surroundings at all times."

"Apartments are pretty nice for what you pay, office staff is top notch. Vast majority of people that live here suck but that's gonna be the case at any low income apartment complex. With a little more diligent maintenance crew and less nosy neighbors, this place could be perfect. I feel that regardless of these shortcomings the 5 stars is well earned as the office staff really does strive to make it a great place to live."
