"We have been here for a year now. We moved from California and rented it sight-unseen. What a lucky day! We love the area and the townhouse. The staff here, Jenn and Bo, have been so very helpful and kind. We would recommend Olympic Square to anyone!"
"LOVE this neighborhood. We've been here for about a year and a half and have no plans to leave anytime soon. Parking was a little dicey when we first moved in but the office staff has been exceptional in making sure all concerns were addressed and rectified. Other than that, zero complaints. Jenn in the office is fantastic and kind, maintenance is prompt and professional, and we are thrilled to live here. I never hear my neighbors and love living in uptown, where I can walk practically anywhere I need to go. 100% recommend living here."
"I lived here for a little over a year in 2010-2011, so maybe it's changed but agree some of the comments are a bit harsh. This was actually one of the nicest places I've ever lived. I had moved to WA from MI and having previously lived in Port Orchard I can say this was a HAVEN in comparison. The apartment was in impeccable condition, the location was very convenient and safe, the local coffee shop and grocery were wonderful and actually Jill (if she's still there) was so helpful, open and honest - both when I was on a waiting list to get in and when I needed to extend my lease by a month or two before moving to the UK. I had put up several shelves, frames and hung many things from the walls which I was given the option of repairing myself or being charged. I do remember thinking it was maybe a little high, but not more than $250 or so, and it must have been quite the work to repair, now that I look back on it, the charges seem fair. The layout is really good, you never hear your neighbors, the people living in the other townhouses are mostly families. If I hadn't had to relocate to the UK I would have stayed for many years, I'm sure."
"I feel obligated to rate this five stars, especially after reading the negative comments from others. The office management has been nothing but extraordinarily accommodating for me! I am frequently on work trips, and they have been more than happy to check my front door for missed package deliveries. They have been quick to respond to work requests. They always have a friendly disposition. It's been great! The unit itself is certainly not outfitted with luxurious materials, but it is still extremely nice. I moved-in to brand-new carpet and fresh paint. The hot water heater is in the garage, but it doesn't take an unreasonable amount of time for the water to heat up on the top floor. And when it does, I have never had a problem with it running out of hot water. It's in a perfect place for commuting, and there is a lot of great restaurants within walking distance, not to mention the amazing grocery store, Harbor Greens! There's also a new movie theater down the street, that's probably the nicest movie theater I've ever been in!"
"y spouse and I moved to WA from WI and chose to live here. We were here for 6 months, and weren't extremely happy but intended to stay through our lease. My spouse was deployed out of the country and when we brought in the orders telling them we had to break the lease, the woman at the front desk implied the military orders were fake. We were offended but told her to feel free to verify they are real and provided her with some phone numbers. Of course, the orders were verified. So, we moved out. About a week after leaving, and only living there 6 months, we received a bill in the mail stating that we owed $1178 for "painting, cleaning, and carpet". I cannot believe these charges. I am a 32 year old working woman, and have lived in many places and have NEVER been charged like this on move out. We left the apartment as it was when we moved in. WARNING! DO NOT LIVE HERE! THEY WILL SCREW YOU OVER!"
