"I would give zero stars if it were an option. DR pentopolus is the worst. She is only there for the money, not caring at all. I previously had an ectopic pregnancy, pentopolus did the surgery and this place RUINED every perception I had trying to be okay after surgery. Not to mention the front desk staff is RUDE and not really willing to help. Dr Pray is okay BUT I expressed my non liking about the other OBS and that I would prefer to stick with her, she disregarded everything I had to say pretty much. She was nice and said she would be happy to be my OB and deliver my baby. I then go to my 20 week appointment, get stuck with pentopolus and am told that Pray went back to school and is no longer scheduling appointments or delivering babies. I would have been very appreciative if she had told me she would no longer be delivering in the near months of my birth when I expressed my concerns of not wanting to see the other doctors. I switched over to Peace Health in Vancouver, even though it's a two hour drive for me, every penny spent on gas was worth it. They're by far the best birthing unit I have toured - their care was unmatched. I 10000 percent don't recommend this place to anyone."
"I don’t like this establishment of business at all I’ve been consistently harassed by multiple phone calls a day by different numbers out of the state itself by the same receptionist. I will end the phone call not even 30 seconds later she would call back after stating I am not available to talk right now. I have counted within a three day span 47 calls by multiple different numbers after I said I was not available. I did not have an appointment. I’m getting unexpected large bills this place is disrespectful and out of line and it’s now harassment"
"Dr wilder needs to be fired and this place needs to be sued! She placed a iud for my wife and said keep cheacking to make sure it's placed right, she's is so iragent that she didn't do a ultra sound! My wife has been in severe pain ever since wilder placed it,everyone I've talk to in goldendale that has seen dr wilder has had a problem, when my wife was pregnant wilder kept telling her she was way over weight and making her feal very uncomfortable everytime we went in,this lady should not be a dr!!!"
"Dont quite understand the bad reviews of the establishment. I went through them with my daughter and now again with this pregnancy and they have always been more than accommodating. Everyone has always been helpful from the front desk personnel to the nurses and doctors. One doctor seems to have an attitude most times but i dont believe she is there anymore as i haven't seen her. Even then working with people probably tends to put some in a bad mood. Over all im glad they are the ones to help me through one of the most challenging times of a women's life and i would recommend them to anyone."
"After denying me access to the office, one provider in the women’s clinic finally wrote me a note allowing me to stop wearing a face mask at work. The note reflected her recommendation as a face shield should be required instead. At the time of pick up, her assistant advised that if I experience further complications, that I should contact the office again for an updated letter. Two weeks later, asked for the new letter due to migraines caused by the faceshield. My request was denied. My boss sent me home until I could produce a new note. I called MCWC again and was sent to a different nurse. She said that she did not feel comfortable writing a note excusing all PPE (which I understand) but she then recommended that I take a leave of absence until the pandemic ends. I said that I would rather work since I am able, but if that is her recommendation, than I would need a note for this. She advised that this is between my employer and Me. I contacted my employer for help, and HR advised that they cannot permit leave without a doctors note, so I called the doctor’s office again. They refused to let me talk to the nurse whom I spoke with just an hour before and denied my request for a medical leave note claiming that there was no grounds for this type of note even if the nurse recommended it. I asked the assistant, “can you check the notes to ensure that the doctors and nurses can see the list of complications that I am having? Can they see that I was experiencing blurry vision and dizziness and that my grandmother went blind at age 20 for no reason and that’s partially why I’m scared?” The assistant replied that all of the doctors and nurses have been gossiping about my situation, and none of them are willing to write me a note of any kind. She then proceeded to mock me while I cried on the phone begging for help and told me “you’re not going to get the answer you want. No one likes wearing a mask to work.” I reached out to the risk management team for a second opinion, and to file an official complaint with Johnny. She was told that HR gave me ‘til Thursday to obtain a note and I was assured that there would be resolution. The next day, Johnny called and explained that after a “thorough investigation” she found that no one was willing to provide either note that I was requesting and she couldn’t force them to. I asked if there was anyone else that I could speak with for help in this matter or someone who would consider writing any note, even one for a leave of absence even though that wasn’t really what I wanted. She said that her job was done and that she was sorry that I wasn’t going to get the answer that I wanted. I expressed that I felt that the doctors not backing up their recommendations is causing some distrust during pregnancy which is an extremely vulnerable time for a woman. Johnny said that if that’s the case, than I should seek medical attention elsewhere because it is not her job to manage the conduct of the nurses and doctors and that nothing I was telling her is appearing in the notes in my file. With nowhere else to turn, for immediate assistance to comply with HR’s timeline. The woman I spoke with today, Autumn, advised that she and everyone on her team were very familiar with my case by this point, then a few moments later admitted that she hadn’t looked at my chart. She pawned me off to a totally unrelated department. I was sent back to her and was told that the only help the nurses would provide is a note permitting me to work with a mask. I asked to speak to someone who is responsible to keep the nurses accountable to follow through with their promises and she advised that she thinks I am just angry because I am not getting the answer that I WANT. It’s not about what I want. It’s about NEEDING to return to work and not being listened to or cared for by these “medical professionals.”"
