"I brought an issue to a former officer staff and and was met with a disinterested attitude & no action. I brought the same issue to Tori a few days later was met with actionable measures that have been upheld since. She has made my brief dealings a positive experience with her warmth and professionalism which is especially meaningful as an LGBTQ+ person."
"Moved in about 8 months ago and everything has been great. Tori gave me the apartment tour and I signed my lease with her and she has been great ever since. She's always the one that is in the office when I'm picking up my packages she's very kind and always assists with any issues I've had since moving in."
"Alex had Poor Conflict Resolution The initial appearance of the apartment excited us. It was spacious, clean, affordable. Everything seemed well designed. Loved the layout, tall ceilings, and perceived privacy. Heating was great, not so much in the summer. Maintenance responses were quick. Electric bills reasonable. They have a convenient trash valet that collects your trash from your door step. Each month they had a different community event in the main office. Now, as most reviews note, the sound proofing left a lot to be desired. Small every day sounds bleed through the floors. I’ve woken from dead sleep in a panic because it sounds like somebody is in my bedroom only to realize that somebody is in a bedroom upstairs or downstairs talking at a regular volume. You can hear so much that before we were living there three months we knew how many people were living upstairs (some of which may not have been on the lease), the names of the dogs downstairs and that they have their own room (fancy), that one of our neighbors (unnamed for obvious reasons) couldn’t stand each other (married) and blew up an air mattress in the living room every night and put it away every morning. And many more details we didn’t have any business knowing. We know now that there is a reason the lease stipulates not to run appliances during the designated quiet hours. Then come the complaints. Our main and only complaint was when the quiet hours were disrespected. Yet we had to complain multiple times because of: Appliances turned on in sequence of first the dishwasher, then washer, then dryer, so that all night it felt like they were running at midnight Movies on so loud we could hear what lines and what movie they were watching at midnight Music at night ETC To be honest, the lack of sound proofing was not the fatal flaw. I was not satisfied with how the situation was handled by a key member of the management. Alex. She has a peculiar skill. She will smile at you, and simultaneously portray a look like your presence in the office is a problem. I felt unwelcomed within the office anytime she was present. I didn’t even start off on bad footing. Simply going in to use the printer there made me feel unwelcome and uncomfortable. I guess my red flag radar failed me this time. Going into the office to complain when the neighbors have kept me up all night, or because I came in late to work because I didn’t fall asleep until a few hours before I had to go to work, I got to listen to “We all have to hear some degree of sound from day to day living.” And “Have you lived in apartments before this?” – that last one got me really mad. I have not once seen an adequate response from her over valid issues. Instead, she brushes away our complaints and though she breaches the issue with the respective neighbors, no long term solution was reached. Of the many times I have had to complain about quiet hours being broken, Alex tried to tell me that the only complaint on file was the one single time they complained about us making too much noise during the daylight hours when we first moved in. Because with how much noise they make, We Were Clearly The Problem. Alex has not shown the ability to be able to read a situation without bias and react honestly or capably. For an apartment so designed to develop a sense of community, she seems to dislike the most important part of a community – People. If I had any advice for Alex: start managing people. If we had had a chance to sit down in the office with our neighbors and a manager from the start, things likely wouldn’t have escalated this bad. You’re being paid for a reason, and It’s not to brush away our issues. Perhaps if you started looking at your tenants as people, you could build that community this apartment is so well set up for and ready to develop."
"My husband and I moved in year ago from California. We have to say that the experience from the beginning over the phone and still in California was so easy. The whole entire staff is friendly and has a smile and always asking what can we do to help. When we moved in our furniture was transported by POD's they made easy for us to use two parking space until it was empty and picked up. If we call with issue they have maintenance at our door within hour the same day. The property is always clean and just around beautiful. We love it is so much we just renewed for another year and half. Thank you to everyone that works at The Sinclair you all are amazing and so helpful and understanding and thank you for always having a smile. Thank you again, Dave and Sandy"
"Alex was wonderful throughout the whole process! My boyfriend and I finalized our papers today, and we are now moving in! Every question we had was answered quickly, every point of confusion was resolved efficiently, every sent email, phone call, and each step of the process were met with kindness and swiftness. We spoke with maintenance before move-in briefly, and they were super kind as well! Our unit has a wonderful corner view, and all of the units have beautiful huge windows! The appliances are brand new and include a microwave, garbage disposal, dishwasher, washing machine & dryer! Even Gravity Coffee is a walking distance away in the parking lot. We picked one of the smallest unit sizes; nonetheless, it includes a bountiful amount of cabinet, storage, and balcony space for a 1 bedroom unit. There are so many outlets available, too! These phase 2 unit buildings seem to be different compared to their original buildings and are worth touring! I hope this continues to be a wonderful experience because, so far, I love this place!"
