"Update: If I had known all this before I would’ve rented a house. I got more clarification of the utility fees plus rent from my parents when showing them how I was billed, completely derailed by it since I thought those fees and payments were with pudgetsoundengery company for the area. But if neighbors put non recyclable trash in the recycling they’ll charge all of us instead of looking at the cameras to see who did what. some people dont care and can afford these fees but me personally, I already pay enough rent to be living back in california so I rather not, otherwise I would’ve stayed in california. Anyways I came here to let whoever reading this know to RENT A HOUSE !!!RENT A HOUSE PLEASE! if you can find one because I truly wish I had since the cons have increased tremendously. First of all, theres water damage on the ceiling of my bedroom, I noticed few nights ago when trying to sleep, I felt how bad it was and it’s already soft and Mushy. Its like they just slapped these buildings together and called it an apartment for the hell of it, especially since it feels like I’m living in dorms. For example, zero noise cancelation, I can literally hear muffles of the person living next door to me. Even when they close a drawer or cabinet, you can hear. You can hear when people come in and out of their apartments or walking up/down the stairs. Also, you can hear cars starting like your bed is in the middle of the parking lot outside or like you have a window wide open when in reality everything is SHUT AND LOCKED. It never fails that multiple obnoxious cars wake me up before my work alarm on the weekdays, mind you this has been happening since i moved in last summer June 2023. I’m currently trying to go to sleep and i can hear the people next door to me giggling, especially since the males voice is deep and when I put my ear to the wall you can hear the full conversation. Another thing, I was talking with my friendly neighbor and she was telling how she could hear her neighbors having sex sometimes while trying to go to bed at night. The outside cold air seeps in through the sliding doors from the balcony and windows so it’s extremely hard to keep the place warm. When you do turn the heat on, you have to turn it high to 75 or 80 for it to even start, when you know its not no where near/above or at 70 degrees in your apartment, you're better off investing in heated blankets or a portable heater since thats how they rack up the bills. I already pay 2,000 all together and thats when they don’t increase the rent charges for when people place trash in the recycling or have friends AND themselves dumping furniture. I conveniently started showering and spent most of my time at my parents house to see if my utility bill would be lower for the month of February and its the exact same it was for January and December, Im not sure how they’re calculating it but there’s absolutely no way the sewer is $87 additional to everything else, My kid and I dont use the toilet that much especially since I was at my parents 85% of the time and went on a week vacation. On top of all that, parking is the most irritating thing ever since it rains so much in Washington AND I have a little one under 4 years old, one “household” will have 4+ vehicles parked in the front of the building. Its such a nightmare, especially since people dont leave on weekends, I usually come home at or before 1pm just to get good parking or I simply wont go out at all to run errands, from places like the grocery store, visiting relatives, or eating out at restaurants to get happy hour etc. because I know I wont have a parking spot or a close spot to my building since I have a little child. Ive seen cars parking at the church across the street or on the side if the street, thats how bad it is. More than a few cons you already don't want to even be concerned and stressed about especially if you’re elderly. extremely DISAPPOINTED I'm paying this much for this quality."
"The staff is outstanding! We love interacting with them. The events they hold for the holidays, the decor that the y dress up the clubhouse with, the swift maintenance resolutions, and the feeling of friendship you receive from Tara, Adrianna, and Ryan make you feel so welcomed in our little gated community."
"Besides it being a new apartment complex that’s about as good as it gets. They want you to give them a 5 star review on here before you’ve even lived in the place just to get good their good reviews. To start off the move in was a slow process. Little to no communication about the move-in steps. Multiple calls to office and no answer. Response to Emails are sporadic from leasing office. Nobody ever answers the phone at the leasing office. No safety here, the front gate has been broken and open to the public at all hours, so make sure you lock your vehicle. Walls are VERY thin. I could hear the downstairs neighbor talking and his music all the time. “Quiet hours” are never enforced. Despite concerns and complaints by other neighbors to the leasing office, they can’t do anything about it, they state “that’s military people for you” (referring to said neighbor who would blast his music everyday and night). It got to the point where my whole apartment would shake, and I lived on the top floor, so you’d think I wouldn’t hear my neighbors. People ignore the no smoking policy, some smoke marijuana and cigarettes on the their balcony, the leasing office sent a notice to everyone but people still do it. Parking is also an issue. If you have an electric car, most often you won’t be able to park at one of their EV chargers due to lack of parking spaces for the community. I had to cancel my lease early due to so much noise complaints with the tenant below me. If you’re able to, rent a house, peace of mind with no upstairs or downstairs neighbors to deal with is better than wasting thousands of dollars on an apartment complex with “roommates” around you. Don’t lease apartment: 4919 Sidney Road SW Apt F-306 Even though the views of the courtyard from that apartment were nice. Not worth the stress of having to deal with hearing your neighbors at any time of the day/night. Look elsewhere if you’re able to."
"I love living at Haven. The staff is always so kind. The community is great. The apartments have events and its always fun meeting our neighbors and catching up. They are the best apartments around!"
"These are extremely nice apartments. Never had any issues with anything maintenance, no issues with neighbors and the leasing office was always willing to accommodate for my needs. The leasing office has thrown multiple events at the clubhouse since I’ve been here, where the neighbors can connect with one another, and the staff. It’s a gated community in an area with little crime. The apartment itself is very nice. Good flooring, the counters are absolutely gorgeous, the cabinets go well with the color of vinyl wood flooring they used. I’ve recommended these apartments to any and everyone who is looking for a new place to live."
