Reviews of Bellwether Apartments
"We have lived at Bellwether Apartments for about a year and 3 months now and so far have had a good experience with them. Brittany G. has been our main contact person because she is so kind and understanding with listening to our issues/concerns. Everyone in the office is very helpful and the maintenance crew is amazing. They are able to look into your maintenance requests the same day and offer great tips for future reference. Overall, we’ve had an amazing experience with this apartment complex and they always strive to improve their facility."
"We have lived at Bellwether for 4 months now and have had nothing short of a great experience! Our apartment was clean, carpets replaced, and ready to go for our cross country move. Laura and everyone in the office is very helpful and made it possible for our move to go so smoothly. We have only had a couple small maintenance requests and they were fixed next day. The maintenance team is awesome and very respectful of our space when entering. We love living here!"
"Just don't do it. Only positive of this place is that maintenance can often be completed same-day. Negatives: rent increases are ridiculous proportional to the low quality of the apartments, common areas (e.g. stairwells) are filthy and have only just been cleaned for the first time in 2.5 years of residing at these apartments, they refuse to make a single exception on rent due dates for times of hardship (again, 2.5 years worth of punctual payments), amenities that you are paying for are never open (front pool for 2 months a year, back pool has never been open, hot tub is always in disrepair), etc. Unfortunately, overall a very negative experience and would not recommend."
"Old building with a cheap coat of superficial renovations that cannot cover the horrible planning, congested parking space, lethal electrical wiring and black mold issues that plagues every unit. Not at all worth it. To top things of received little to no help during a domestic abuse situation and at the end it didn't matter how much I cleaned and took care of the apartment, they still took my entire "refundable" security deposit and more. The administration puts all the financial responsibility of cleaning and repairing the apartment on the tenants through shady practices and hidden fees. In conclusion I'm so much happier after leaving this place, it was such a disappointment."
"Lived here for just over 3 years. Anytime we had an issue with something like the dishwasher or the shower or anything, they were in either same day or next and the maintenance guys are really kind. Whenever I called in they were really nice. Before they did any inspections they’re supposed to give you I think 1 or 2 day notice, but they usually gave us like a week in advance notice which was nice! Lots of kids and military families live here. It felt like a safe place to live and Uber eats will deliver ☺️ There was definitely not enough parking sometimes, but that isn’t really the complexes fault that other tenants break the rules. Annual inspections are super quick and they try to make it easy. Nice landscaping, too. Upon moving out, they gave us a check list so we wouldn’t miss anything which was helpful. Walls are somewhat thin and I can hear when other tenants are watching “The office” or jumping on the floor, but we had a baby that would cry so there was some give and take. The location was great since it was close to downtown and bike trails are within walking distance. Over-all a good place to live ☺️"
