"I have never experienced such cold and indifferent medical people who refer to themselves as, “professionals.” Having symptoms of uterine or endometrial cancer for months and bleeding profusely post menopause, my iron which was already low has dropped to the point of having iron infusions. Due to a long move I hadn’t been able to find out if it is cancer, what stage and what if anything can I do. Once settled I made an appointment with Dr. Kelty. When making the appointment I told them that I don’t drive so I’d have to work around rides or PT and due to severe COPD and heart problems, I am unable to wear a mask even for short periods of time. This is why I stay home. Her nurse and reception person told me that wouldn’t be a problem because people with medical reasons are exempt from wearing a mask. As I waited quite a long time for this appointment, I’m getting sicker as I’m losing blood daily. Pain in my pelvic region and my back and legs is too much to take some days. As the appointment time grows near Dr. Kelly’s office called to confirm the appointment. When the person gave me instructions she again mentions the mask. I again explain why I can’t wear one. She than says she remembers and will see me on Thursday. Once there and after calling from the vehicle to say I was there I then went in. I was met at the door by the nurse who insisted I put on a mask. We do this back and forth thing and she tells me the doctor can’t see me without a mask. I burst into tears sick and fearful of how serious my condition may be. Not to mention that I’ve just lost two family members, my daughter has cancer and so much more going on in my life. I beg to see the doctor. She hands me a mask and says only if I wear this. I put the mask on and in seconds I can’t get a good breath. I felt like I was going to pass out. I pulled it away from my face to get some air and she very coldly told me that I had to keep my nose and mouth covered at all times. I’m sobbing as she takes my temperature which was normal as I do not have Covid. She takes me to a room and even sitting far from me one on one she insists that I not lift the mask to get air. The room is swirling as I feel faint. It was so warm and stuffy in there it made breathing even harder. I asked her how she could be so cold and lacking compassion and she ignored me. I asked again and mentioned about people with breathing problems were exempt from mask wearing. She informed me they were a private business and that was their policy. I asked why I was not told this neither when I made the appointment nor when their office called me to confirm the appointment. Again, no answer. She left and pretty soon the doctor came in. She was just as cold and heartless as her nurse. I told her I couldn’t breath and felt faint. She also ignored me completely. I lifted the mask outward and she said to put it back in place. I told her I could not lie down like this and could barely breath sitting upright. I begin crying even harder which made it harder to breath. She then told me to leave her office and find another doctor. I’m just going to say. I feel this is all political. I read this every day. The same people demanding everyone wear a mask, I see with no mask on. Also, these doctors should know that constant inhalation of your own c02 can cause everything from respiratory issues to issues in the brain. This expectation is excessive and could prove deadly to people like me with medical conditions that mask wearing could exacerbate. If you have other options, which I now do, find a doctor who understands how risky it could be to force someone with breathing/heart issues to wear a mask even as they sob and tell you they can’t breath. Apparently, “I can’t breath” doesn’t mean as much to them as they claim it does."

"I wish I could put zero stars. Absolute worst experience I have had with any office scheduling in my life. I work in the health field and I am at a loss of words with how I was treated. I had to take work off for my appointment and then got cancelled not once but TWICE. I have waited for over a month to see this doctor and will not be making this mistake again. I will be finding a new specialist that has a better scheduling staff."
