Reviews of Four Seasons Central
"I've been renting here for two years now and recently they had charged me with leasing violations in regards to updates to renters insurance. I was never given a notification or warning about the violation and charges. My insurance policy doesn't change and the insurance auto updates. They had told me it's my responsibility to resend it every year. The lack of communication with its residents in regards to information they need is poor. Now I am stuck with charges with no warning. On top of that, management did nothing to resolve the issue or even offer to help in any way. I was not given any proof besides word of mouth stating that it is mainly the renters responsibility to send in an updated copy without notification from management. Follow up: Management reached out to address the issue. I appreciate that the issue was looked into. Overall the apartments are well kept and updated."
"Just moved out after living here for 3 years, if you need a recent review to help make your decision on if you should move into four seasons, let me help you. I will be fair in saying my overall living experience in these apartments weren't terrible, I loved having a garage and the community around me was fairly nice. Now that you've heard the very small amount of pros, let me tell you the cons. The walls are so thin, this in itself almost pushed me away from living here. I basically lived with 2 dogs, I do not own any dogs. My neighbors directly next door sounded like they had their dogs in a kennel 24/7, they were big dogs and barked constantly, like constantly. It sounded like they were in my apartment just in another room, this drove me absolutely crazy as I could not get any sleep in peace. Not really the apartments fault but just keep that in mind. The cost of living here is simply not worth it. They were raising my rent to 1,800 for the smallest 1 bedroom that they had, while they were advertising the same apartment online for 1,600. When I moved out, I moved into a 2 bedroom with 2 bathrooms, and an extra 200 square footage, only paying 1,625 a month in a better part of town. Their are SO many apartments in Vancouver, bigger and cheaper, do not waste your money here. Not to mention the biggest reason you should not rent here, they will scam you out of every dollar they can get from you when you move out. I've lived in 6 different apartments in the last 10 years, I have ALWAYS received my deposit back. After moving out of four seasons, they charged be 3,000 because they wanted to replace the carpet, as my cat scratched out the tiniest patch by one of the doors, like cats do, and she has done at more than 1 apartment, instead of patching it like most apartments will do, they knew they could scam me out of 3k dollars instead of doing the right thing, the carpet was I'm good condition, they could've patched it and at one point said small stuff like that could be patched. Like I said I've lived at multiple apartments and never left without receiving all of my deposit back, and I was shocked to see four seasons doing everything they can to scam me, hence why they raised my rent and are charging new tenants less, because they make their money from scamming people who move out. FIND A BETTER CHEAPER AND BIGGER APARTMENT ELSEWHERE AND YOU WONT REGRET IT LIKE I DO!! Vancouver has so many apartments that are nicer and cheaper, I'm warning you do not waste your time and money here!!!"
"I gave 2 stars because the move-in process was very smooth and professional. The office staff are very kind and thorough. The apartment is very nice. My ONE piece of advice would be...DO NOT LIVE IN A DOWNSTAIRS UNIT! We have the neighbors from hell. We are awakened sometimes before 6am and have running children and stomping adults all day long. It is impossible to have a quality of life or even to be able to watch any television. My child often struggles to be able to focus on distance learning because of the noise. We cannot wait to leave here!"
"Lived here for 3 years. Overall apartment is great. You get the luxury living. Positives are that the maintenance staff is amazing. Sal was always very fast and efficient to fix any issues and was friendly as well. The customer service was good to. Jessica the manager was always very nice and helpful as was Heidi. Downfalls. there is a guy who drives his BMW through the apartments reving his engine at all hours. Also some of the residents drove through to fast and had little regards for children. Again with loud vehicles or neighbor's or people speeding through the apartments, the management team was quick to deal with it."
"We moved from Woodstock, IL to Vancouver, WA. Looking for apartments wasn't easy due to the fact that we were living in a house in IL. We knew that transitioning to an apartment was a big change and that we needed something good and spacious. The staff here is very very helpful, friendly and also flexible. We received a brand new apartment and everything was perfect. We got the smallest one bedroom which is 867 sq ft. It feels very roomy and you also get to get A/C in the apartment which most apartment complexes usually don't offer. All appliances are new and upgraded and you also get a spacious 1 car garage that has plenty of storage space. This complex is very clean and dog friendly! It's also very quiet which is always a plus! Overall it has been a very pleasant experience."
