Reviews of Portola Bridge Creek
"I've been here 4 years for the very most part it's been pretty easy going without any problems. The current office staff is a big part of that. I had a couple minor issues in the past, different office then. Celenea,Larna and James have always been there and go the extra mile to make sure communication has come to understanding. Their patients, very patient. Much appreciated. Big Thank you to them. Maintenance, same thing, always in the time frame given which is actually not much at all, I haven't had any problems with the apartment. You have to get in line if you want a garage. If there is anything negative about this place and it's only been for about a couple of months is the garbage situation. Not cool at all. It not the residents, its outside sources. I'm sure that will get taken care soon. I was happy to get I to a place and I've been better off for being here. Thank you very much ladies and you too James!"
"My car got broken into three times before the most recent time where it got stolen and used in a hit-and-run on an elderly couple. Somehow the security never found anyone doing any suspicious activities in the apartment. Anyone that lives hear has to deal with those Seizure inducing lights outside that nonstop flash. The trash Area looks awful and it always overflows and not in an ignorable type of way. Realistically the apartment itself is nice but that’s only because I’m in the new building but with ALL the break ins it’s just a tense place to live. Also idek what that security’s there for I stg I don’t think they’ve ever helped anything"
"Apartments were not bad. However, trying to contact the office over the phone is impossible. You have to be able to go in person in order to make any contact with them. Working 12 hours a day made that hard for me. Also getting any repair requests done takes months. I ended up doing all the maintenance myself."
"I am a current attendance here and I'd just like to say how amazing and beyond the workers here are! While I'm away from home to go work in portland, they went out of their way to make sure my appliances I thought I'd forgotten to turn was turned off and was overall very friendly! They communicated with me very well and made sure my apartment was safe! Thank you again for the good living experience"
"This apartment complex made me lose a bit of my faith in humanity. Not only do they have an extremely poor turnover rate with management & staff (which should tell you something about how things are run from the inside), but they don't remember important information and you have to stay on top of them to do their own job. During this Pandemic I lost my job and got covid (the full 2020 experience). I got help from Clark Public health and they offered to pay my rent, I gladly accepted. Bridge Creek made it so difficult to receive such basic help. They didn't return the emails, sent the wrong tax sheet, I had to specifically call back and forth between Bridge creek and Clark public health to make this happen. If I didn't, I wouldn't have received this benefit. You would think an apartment complex would go out of their way to make sure they helped complete this. On top of this they jumped at any opportunity to add late fees or raise the rent (during a pandemic I might add). When I first got the keys I talked to the lady at the front desk and I asked her If I could paint, she said "as long as you paint it back". I painted two walls, and when our lease was up, called the apartment complex (literally everyday) to ask them what specific white to paint it back. Not only did I have to call everyday to get an answer, they told me not to worry about it. Come time to leave the apartment we spent a whole day deep cleaning the fridge, oven, stovetop, and cleaned the total of two spots on the carpet. We even patched up any holes in the wall from shelfs, pictures, etc, and cleaned all the windows. I returned my keys and double checked about the painted walls, making sure we get our full deposit back. The office person told me the painted walls would be taken out of our deposit. They have a "routine clean" and "carpet clean" they charge every tenant regardless of how clean you leave your apartment. Why even call it a deposit if you are going to get $200 taken out of if regardless. Thats called a fee. I went above & beyond to leave this apartment complex better then I found it, and they did absolutely nothing to help me. Save yourself the headache and find a newer, classier, better apartment in Vancouver. There are plenty of options."
