"Moved into a brand new apartment, and stayed for about a year. Everything in the place is made with cheap material, which you don’t expect given the cost to rent there. Things break down easily. Not only that, but the pool was advertised to us when we moved in June 2022, they said it would be open “next month”. It still wasn’t open when we moved out June 2023, which is unfortunate because there’s no AC. The dog park is just a tiny area where animals use the bathroom and owners don’t pick up after them. Then the apartment complex sends semi-threatening emails on the dog poop, garbage, and parking situation. When we moved out we were charged for damages, which is fine, but they haven’t sent out an itemized list and it’s been about 4 months. We have asked for the itemized list about 5 times and they still haven’t gotten to it. I’d stay far away from this place, due to ridiculous rent prices, and poor management."

"Rented here for a year from March 2022 - March 2023. For the first 8 months of living there my neighbors, who were active duty military were ridiculous. I dealt with them being loud at all hours of the night, one of their guests broke someone’s car window, and they had 4 people living there. Only 2 were on the lease. I complained and nothing was ever done. No pool for the whole time I was there, even though it’s clearly described everywhere prior to moving in. They told me in 2022 it should be open in time for summer 2022, it’s 2023 and after reading the reviews, it’s still not open. No refund of any of your rent for false advertising. Dog park is a piece of grass the size of a carpet, full of dog poop everywhere. Dog litter bag stations are usually empty. I moved into a house that accepts dogs for the same price, with a yard, and no on telling me I can’t have anything on my porch. HERE is the kicker **I Gave Ample Vacating Notice** I moved out on March 15th, 2023. I contacted Brandon asking where my deposit was on July 19th. I didn’t receive a response until August 2nd stating “John, I am reaching out to you on behalf of our accounting department for Gayteway at Hawks Prairie. They have tasked me with getting a hold of many residents that had the refund of the security deposit sent out but never cashed. The forwarding address you gave us back in March when you moved out was: ————-. Is that the correct address? If it is, or you have a different one, let me know so I we can get that money sent back to you. If you have any questions, please call into the office, or send us an email.” The address he provided in the email he sent me was correct. My address I provided them when I moved out was correct. My mail is forwarded for a year. I finally revived my deposit back around the 24th of August, 5 months past my move out date. They are required by law to issue your security deposit back within 21 days with any damages noted. None of this happen, no one made any attempt to not break the law. Avoid this place at all cost. If I hadn’t just sold my house before moving here along with getting a divorce, I would have moved somewhere way better. Don’t say I didn’t warn you. If you want to spend the same for an apartment as you would a house, have no storage, no AC, dog poop everywhere, a gym that’s not any better than my current garage, a pool that’s not been open in 2 years, and constant threats in emails to all the residence about other residents being dirt balls, than this is the place for YOU!!!!"

"Mediocre apartment complex. The best thing about this place is that the maintenance staff will fix issues pretty quickly and the fact that there’s a grill. Otherwise, the apartments themselves aren’t anything special. The dog park and other areas are littered with poop. The pool still isn’t open after almost two years. The dumpster areas aren’t well maintained. The common areas like the gym and bathrooms aren’t cleaned regularly. Many people have reported these issues but management always has excuses and never fixes them. I would recommend living somewhere else if you have other options."

"Many times, a place becomes a home not because of the place itself but because of the people in it. In this case, I’m referring to the 3 wonderful people working in this apt complex. Back in May, I hosted a graduation party for my daughter at the Clubhouse. Since I wanted to have the party immediately following her Commencement it meant that I had just 2 hrs to get the party set up and food out to feed about 20 people. The party turned out beautiful all thanks to Sarah, Brandon, & James. They helped with unloading the food & drinks, decorating the place, and Sarah with her catering background was beyond amazing in helping setting out all those foods. This apt complex is lucky to have those 3 wonderful folks working for them. You could have a beautiful place, but it takes good people working and living there for that to be long lasting."

"At move in apartment looks pretty clean until you actually moved in to see you started putting your belongings away and all inside cabinets, and behind oven and fridge were not cleaned part of the floors were sticky due to the apartment not being cleaned throughly so before we could actually get comfortable and settle in my family and I had to do lots of scrubbing and deep cleaning something that should of been done by cleaners before any resident can move in so this was a huge downside for us. I highly suggest that if you have OCD and like your stuff clean! Or can’t help but to clean and disinfect all surfaces when u see something dirty then don’t move here because it will be dirty and you will need a whole day of deep cleaning which is ridiculous and even more stressful over time of already having to move into a new home. Just find another apartment that will meet your cleanliness expectations. On the other hand If you are okay with moving into a dirty space and do not care to clean before moving in your personal belongings then this place is for you."
