Reviews of Parkwood Manufactured Housing Community
"A Very friendly community!"
"A great neighborhood with TERRIBLE management. Regular rent increases, the latest being 17%, have made this the most expensive senior park around with few benefits. Other parks in the area offer water and garbage for a cheaper price than Parkwood. Here the tenants pay all costs and receive nothing other than a barebones clubhouse, basic road maintenance and outrageous rent increases. Regarding the 5-star review from Dale Metzger, it should be noted that he is an EMPLOYEE of Parkwood."
"Strange neighborhood....it just has a strange atmosphere that I think comes from the people who work there, mainly the head of maintenance, who seems to thrive on running the place as his personal kingdom often accepting 'tips' I would more likely call payoffs for his good humor and service."
"I think my great grandparents lived here in the early 2000's before they passed away. Their last name was likely Gill. If I remember right, there is a forest area with a donut-shaped pond near the clubhouse, but there weren't any pictures included of that area. Could someone please let me know if I'm correct? I would love to see it again if possible. Edit: my mum thinks their address may have been 702 Fircrest Drive?"
"The staff is very helpful and courteous. The community is clean. I actually like the concept of this 55 and older neighborhood housing. It is convenient location near hwy 101. There is a gas station and market near by. The community has a club house. A must visit."
