"This is a great place to get back on your feet, if you're willing to put the work in. There are a few simple rules to follow and as long as you're willing to get along with others, the staff are very pleasant. Unfortunately, there is outside drinking and drug use along with severe mental illness here. Most of the guests are pleasant but you do need to be aware of problem guests and avoid them. There are security cameras everywhere and staff are quick to deal with problem guests. Food is generally very good and well balanced. Most of all, it's free. Chef Cameron and Theresa do an excellent job making good use of donations when preparing the food here. It's a homeless shelter, don't come here with super high expectations. But definitely look at it as an opportunity to get your life back together."
"This place has helped my father and I when we needed help the most and I thank them from the bottom of my heart"
"If I could give this place negative stats I would. The staff are verbally abusive towards the people who stay there and yell at them and deamean them. The meals are not food and they use expired food bank food only. It was the worst experience of my life staying there and I wouldn't recommend it on my worst enemy."
"Nice shelter options for lots of reasons: resources and referrals, meals and daily 9 am ride into Port Angeles. Laundry services, showers, visited by doctors of primary care at Peninsula behavioral health. Mail reception, address of record when without. 24/7"
"Great place. The staff are very helpful and willing to assist people who are willing to get up and do the leg work. They work very hard to make sure rules are followed and everyone is safe. I appreciate everyone and all their hard work. You have all come a long way trying to help this community thank you for all your work"
