Reviews of Four Pines Apartments
"i just moved in recently and Benjamin Cruz has been an excellent manager and an even better helper. he’s quick to respond and always willing to go above and beyond for his residents. Very welcoming and professional."
"I recently moved here from across the country and the moving process was so smooth with the help of Benjamin Cruz. His quick replies and attention to his residents have been phenomenal since moving in. Highly recommend Four Pines and their manager."
"In my experience, After 18months or so I moved out due to many reasons. I moved in when was built new. the first couple few months were great untill they kept changing managements every now and then . Some of them weren't friendly just straight rude . the rent price is ridiculous i rented a studio for my daughter and I , And Im that sister that is mention here below the reviews here , that someone in the neighborhood slashed my tired and stuck a wooden in exhaust pipe in my car . I was furious, so i called and reported and they couldnt put cameras around the parking lot . What would of happen if i didnt catch that. I had to check everytime before going out . & they really strict about the of how certains things you cant have on your balcony or why not . and this year i was told to put my own AC DOWN cos its not acceptable. like what ? i had it last year and it was no problem. & of course my bike got jacked too when its locked on the first floor. when my car couldnt work . smh they dont care at all all they care is to make the apartment look good and take your money. i honestly dont recommend here because is not safe and there will be times crackheads walking around late nights ."
"After 18 months I finally got to move out. Everything about this property is a joke. The management changed multiple times during my stay and they were pretty much all rude and useless. The property is filled with garbage and dog poop. They can’t hold anyone accountable because they refuse to put up cameras for whatever reason so good luck feeling safe. The appliances are cheap, work just fine but you’ll find better quality elsewhere. You share a parking lot with a strip mall/buffet so have fun with that. The insolation is basically nonexistent, couldn’t get the place warmer than 63 with both heaters on. Basically the worst place I’ve ever lived in."
"I'm sure there will be the formulaic "please contact us with your concerns" response to this review but be assure we have contacted and contacted and been consistently ignored. On par with CEP residential's practices I've come to find out. If you rent an apartment here, please please keep your receipts and whatever you do, do not take advice from management. Cover your own behinds. My husband and I lived here for a year and a half in a one bedroom. With the increase of rent with our renewal, it came close to us paying almost 3k a month for a one bedroom. Yes downtown Seattle rates for industrial Burlington. As with most apartments they tack on whatever mandatory fees they can. Yes you can have your pets but at a cost. You will be charged pet rent monthly as well as an additional pet security deposit. The good is that they are new apartments. They come with a washer dryer. You have some outside space, albeit not very private but you take what you can get. The bathrooms are two sink which is nice. Lots of storage space. The bad. There is something very wrong with the electrics. The breakers would overload at the drop of a hat, particularly when you used the microwave. When we spoke to maintenance we were gaslighted into thinking it was because we had too much plugged in. I kid you not, we had a coffee maker and a ninja smoothie maker. The grounds flood terribly during the rains causing a sewage smell. Speaking of smells, you will also be stepping over dog waste on the pathways. There are regular car break-ins and although you are asked to sign a release for being photographed in your lease, they do not have security cameras. The garbage is almost always overflowing. You need to take your garbage down as soon as wm have collected it. Other residents do not break down boxes and will throw out furniture, mattresses, giant plastic tubs. Often you will need to step around rotted food, once even on the handle to the garbage. Super gross. You will hear nightly fire alarms. They are placed so close to the kitchen that making toast will set them off. As others have said, the management changes inexplicably often. We had 3 owners and 4 different property mangers while we lived there. You will receive regular no-no notes on your door. The list of items you are not permitted to have is long. One of the most ridiculous is a window air-conditioner. Not us but two of our neighbors were asked to remove them. As each summer gets hotter and hotter, this policy poses a threat to life. In some apartments there is a vent outlet for an air-conditioner, however you will need to buy an adapter for it as it is too small for the average air conditioner vent. You will also have to give access to your home at least once or twice every 6 months. These are for "insurance purposes". The list goes on so I'll finish with the most insulting part. You are not permitted to choose your own internet provider. Internet is an additional $40 charge on your rent. OK fine. When you leave the apartments you are advised (at least we were) to leave the internet modem as it's "owned" by the apartment complex. Two members of staff, the property manager and the maintenance person told us this. Trusting them, we cancelled our account with the ISP Wave/Astound (which by the way we were asked to set up ourselves when we moved in) and we left the equipment in the apartment. Not 3 weeks later we receive a bill for $120 for non return of the equipment. Initially very responsive the property manager Floyd said he would investigate it. Next he's having trouble finding the rep. Next our emails go ignored until we hear from the assistant manager Benjamin who also promises to investigate. A few weeks later we receive another bill. We again email Four Pines and are ignored. We now face having to pay to seek legal advice on how to avoid a charge and a collection on our credit score for a bill we are not responsible for. Overall a very sad and expensive experience for us. Learn from our mistakes, keep receipts and watch your back if you can afford to rent here."
