"Better than I expected. A hidden gem, trailhead that we used is not obvious but we parked behind Cleveland Hts community center on Superior. We took the forest trail, not a paved trail. Multiple waterfalls on the trail. Beautiful and quiet trail, hardly saw anyone even on a nice sunny day. You could comfortably let your dog off the leash."

"Dugway Brook, is a creek that flows into Lake Erie.  Its headwaters start in Cleveland Heights which geologically is part of the glaciated edge of the Applacian Plateau.  As the water flows from the plateau across the Portage Escarpment down to the Great Lakes till plain, there is a series of dramatic waterfalls.  The rushing water has cut narrow channels into the bluestone rocks.  John D. Rockefeller built his Forest Hill home overlooking  Dugway Brook.  Unfortunately most of the course of the Brook was burried under the streets of the growing city.  Only a small section near the Escarpment was not burried.  What was not burried retains it's dramatic natural beauty.  There is a short marked trail to access the waterfalls behind the Cleveland Heights community center."
