"Really cool place! I stopped at the visitor center to check out the souvenirs. I got a few things there. The shop was smaller than other national parks I’ve been to. I saw both waterfalls here! The hike to blue hen was pretty muddy so keep that in mind! Place was very busy and finding a place to park was pretty difficult. They also had really nice restrooms near the visitors center as well!"
"One of the train stops within the park though the train wasn't running when i visited it starts in may. Staff is helpful and informative. Restrooms are available and a small village surrounds the area for you to explore. There are picnic tables available by the volunteer check in building. This is the starting point for the Buckeye trail which you take for a 2.8 mile out and back hike to blue hen falls"
"The rangers inside were very friendly and helpful, along with the staff of the visitor center. Great people doing a great service, and worth coming here to talk with them before going out on the nearby hikes."
"I visited a friend for Christmas and we came here for a little while. Definitely got our steps in and saw beautiful scenery! Thank you! I wish I could go there everyday. Loved the bridges, water, and available restrooms along the path."
"Super cute visiting center with maps of all the trails and info times for train arrival and departure. Next to Blue Hen Falls - a steep 1-2hr hike to waterfalls. We skipped the hike since limited on time and traveled across the bridge and river to visit the gift shop. Their locally made ice cream was delicious . They also have rocking chairs on a porch to enjoy treats while visiting with friends."
