Finney Chapel

Finney Chapel, located at 56-120 Ohio 511 in Oberlin, Ohio, is the largest performance space on campus, seating up to 1,200 people. It is considered the symbolic heart of Oberlin's intellectual and musical life, known for its excellent acoustics and the impressive C.B. Fisk pipe organ that attracts organ students and guest artists for recitals.

Designed by architect Cass Gilbert and completed in 1908, Finney Chapel's Romanesque arches and oak pews add to its grand majesty. The institution offers separate application processes for the College of Arts and Sciences and the Conservatory of Music, welcoming individuals with exceptional musical talent and intellectual enthusiasm to find their place at Finney Chapel.
