"The food was alright. I ordered lunch to go and most of the food I was served was scraps or the end of the bins. I had to ask for them to not serve me yellow, old arugula since it was throughout the salad mix. The sauces were good, but the beef was a bit watery like it want cooked fresh that day."

"The quality of this place has consistently gone down. When this opened a few months ago, this was our favorite lunch spot. I was going here at least once a week because it was healthy and delicious. Then came the cuts. First, they are ALWAYS out of some toppings which takes any effort to make like chickpea croutons or fried garlic. They will only have the pre-ready toppings. Second, they started reducing the amount of protein they give you. I have had to take double protein multiple times to get my usual amount. Third, they removed the free pita bread with the bowl. And for the longest time, this was dependent on the employee serving you. Some would give it, some would refuse, some would give it and charge you without telling you. Fourth, the staff was really friendly when it opened. Now, the staff seems to not just be indifferent but plain rude. Overall, I have stopped going here. I go every once in a while to see if the quality has picked back up but haven't had any luck."

"I had been wanting to visit Hummus Republic for a while and was eager to try their falafel bowl. Despite their claim of fresh, made-to-order falafel, the ones I received were very dry and hard on the inside, reminiscent of Trader Joe's frozen falafel heated in a microwave. Their tahini was extremely thin, splashed on the wrap, and lacked any flavor or texture. I left Hummus Republic feeling very disappointed. While they offer a diverse menu, their food preparation process needs significant improvement."

"I happened to be walking by this place and decided to give it a shot for lunch, and boy was I surprised how good it was. I told the guy at the counter (who happened to be the owner, Pushek, which I learned later), that this was my first time here, and he said “This is like Mod Pizza with Mediterranean food.” I was like, “Awesome!” I told him to put something together for me, and he did not disappoint. I can’t say the names of everything he included, but it was a bowl with a mix of greens and couscous, 3 different hummus’s, Moroccan steak, tons of delicious toppings, topped with a red pepper sauce. OMG- it was like a party in my mouth! I wish I took a photo before I started mixing the bowl…"

"I was excited to try this make-your-own style Mediterranean restaurant. I probably had high expectations and this place didn't meet them. We ordered two bowls, the falafel was fresh and tasted satisfactory but the chicken shawarma didn't taste good and felt rubbery. The hummus and dressing offerings made the bowl taste a bit better. We also ordered their pita chips that were made fresh but they were thick, very oily, and lacked taste."
