"The 1859 is a fabulous venue! From the first time I contacted the owner, Kate, to the last moment as we walked out the door, absolutely everything was excellent. The unique and decorative beauty of the venue is welcoming, warm and visually pleasing for any type of event. Kate is a pleasure to work with; professional, friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable. The kitchen and buffet area work so well for the caterer and guests, not to mention how attractively it blends into the ambiance of the venue. Even all the technology worked perfectly. Kudos as well to Angie, who represented the venue the evening of our event. She quietly and efficiently and with such grace made sure we had everything we needed throughout the evening. Thank you Kate and all involved for making this celebration a perfect one!"

"We had toured a few venues to find the right place to have our wedding. As soon as we walked into The 1859 we knew instantly we wanted to hold our wedding there. It’s a beautiful venue inside and out! My husband mentioned how we didn’t even need to have that many decorations because the venue itself is already decorated so nicely and I couldn’t agree more! We loved the use of the courtyard area to hold the wedding ceremony and cocktail hour. Kate and her team are great to work with! Kate is great with communication. We also went through the cater she recommended, All That Ingredients. Leah was awesome! Her pricing was great and the food was amazing! My husband and I got compliments all night about how cute the venue was and how great the food was. I wouldn’t change anything about our wedding! I highly recommend The 1859 for any type of event."

"The 1859 was a perfect venue to hold my daughters baby shower. I would highly recommend this venue to anyone wanting or needing a unique space for their special occasion. The inside of the venue was as beautiful as the outside. Kate and her team were wonderful from the moment we arrived until the shower ended. Everything was all set up beautifully when we arrived. All we had to do was to add our personal decorations. Kate’s recommendation for using “All the Ingredients “ as our caterer didn’t disappoint. The food was delicious.
