"Had a random dream about Virginia last night and wanted to check in and see if she was still around. (She watched both my brother and I when were in preschool - early elementary in late 90s and early 00s). Turns out, yes! She asked my parents if she could take us to church with her on Sundays, provided a safe place to play, and I even learned some piano. When I was older, she helped connect me with folks I could babysit for on nights/weekends and start making some pre-teen independence. I have nothing but fond memories of her. PBS/OPB was all that was allowed on TV and you had to have milk with every meal, except for cereal and then you could have juice. I'm sure things have changed in the last >20 years, but I'm happy to know she's still going strong."
