"I've been in Raleigh for many years. This was my first time attending an event at the Tucker House. It was the perfect setting for the brunch. I have added this to my list of venues to consider for future events. Thanks to Nita & Shaw University Friends for the invitation."
"I used the Tucker House for my formal wedding many years ago. Me and all of my guests thought it was so beautiful and elegant. No need to decorate and a baby grand piano was provided. What wonderful memories !"
"We had our wedding here in June 2021 and it turned out amazing! It is a perfect place for a small and intimate wedding for about 30 people. The planning process was very smooth with the employees there and everyone was very kind and accommodating to our needs and wants."
"Great venue for a wedding. We had a vintage style wedding and this is an amazing location for the theme. The home has character and is a decoration in itself! The staff there are professional, positive, and kind! We had such a wonderful experience! The house was easy to book. Our guests loved the venue! It comes with tables and chairs which cuts down rental costs. I have nothing but positive things to say about the experience!"
"When we originally had gone to this location it looked awful and the worst part was we were getting eaten alive by mosquitoes while the young woman was giving us a tour of the backyard. The upkeep was just not there. There was some things left from another event that were hanging around up that were just colored as if they were in the Sun for years. I am a party rental company. The wedding planner and I were discussing some things about how we were going to change this place around and turn it into something presentable. But in order for that to happen the estate itself had to pitch in as well. Number one thing they had to get a mosquito treatment. Once they did that and change some other things around the yard that need to be picked up it would be more rentable. One day from the event they did a mosquito treatment and cleaned up all the tacky leftover equipment that was on the Arches and in the backyard on the gravel. This allowed us to move in and start setting up the tent tables and chairs. Here are some photos of the event. Thomas J Proctor"
