Reviews
"A great place to walk around and they even have some swings. They keep the bathrooms locked so don't expect to find them open unless there is an event."
"Pretty impressive park. Lots of beautiful memorials for all the wars. Nice location, and I believe the bike trail comes out there as well. Stopped there to check it out and use the restroom, but was pretty disappointed that on a Thursday afternoon, nobody had unlocked the doors."
"The waterfall is always amazing to look at plus I really like looking at all the veterans items here… the lock bridge is special to me and recently me and my ex got a lock and wrote on it and threw the key in the river… it was a memory that I will always remember…"
"Beautiful, quiet little place. There are plaques, monuments and benches memorializing the veterans, POWs, purple heart recipients, parents and contributors. All the wars and conflicts look to be included. There are also tanks and a helicopter on display. There is a trail nearby and a small, covered area next to the parking lot that has a couple picnic tables."
"A great place to ride to, also a great way to honor our veterans from the civil war to the more recent war in Iraq and Afghanistan. It a must stop for all Americans and to reflex on what freedom means. It is private supported by mostly veterans themselves."
