"I had to work with Parker’s for my son. They were very professional and kind with our first meeting. "I knew Parker Monuments was special the first time I called. I had spent nearly a week calling different monument companies, some local and some out of state. We knew what kind of granite and design we wanted for our son's gravestone, we just needed someone who genuinely cared about helping us put all those details together. Almost every place I called was only interested in getting us to sign a contract and put money down without ever showing us whether they could design what we were hoping for. Nearly all of the others were only interested in a quick sale. Suzanne Parker, however, was genuinely warm, compassionate and helpful from the 1st time I called. I knew right away that I wanted to work with her. She did everything to ensure that the special gravestone we wanted to design for our son would be exactly what we imagined. She has expert knowledge about the different granites they offer, even the more exotic ones. We wanted a specific version of blue pearl granite that is more blue and less gray. Suzanne knew the exact quarry in Norway to order this from. Every place else I called was very impersonal and said they couldn't guarantee whether our blue pearl granite would be more gray or blue. Meeting with Suzanne was different. She treated us like family and knew much about our son, Ben, as she had taken the time to read his obituary. That touched our hearts. As we met, she was able to show us severeal virtual designs to help us choose the layout of the lettering and our son's photo on his gravestone. Seeing it on the computer was so helpful. After they ensured that we were pleased with the design, they ordered our granite and kept us informed while it was in transit. Once it arrived, Mr. Parker did all of the engraving/ laser etching. Our son was a violist and Mr Parker engraved a replica of his viola and the notes of a special hymn at the top of his gravestone. Mr Parker is a true artist and craftsman, as well as a master in his trade. He and his son worked together not only to create and put the finishing touches on this very special memorial for our dear son, but they also handled all the details with the cemetery and personally installed our son's gravestone. We are grateful for Parker Monuments. In every way, they went above and beyond to make sure we were pleased, and we were. Thank you!"
