"Went on a tour and it was fantastic! Very cool history of the building and the tour guide was great! Plus everything tasted very good too! Will say if you go during the winter time, dress warm. Highly recommend esp since it’s only 45-50 outside of Charlotte so it’s a great way to explore."
"Absolutely an amazing find! My hubby and I were looking to adventure on our way back home! I typed in distillery....and there they were! Re-routed an hour and a half off course, but so glad we did! Can not wait until we get the opportunity to go back! If you are in the area (or not, like us) definitely make your way to this gem in Mt. Pleasant NC! And BTW the staff is amazing!"
"The guide, bourbon, drinks & distillery were great. You should come visit for yourself but make a reservation online. At the time we visited it was for 14 dollars, and included a bourbon flight at the end. Drinks, prison swag, and entire bottles are available for purchase. Prices, bottles, and drinks may change as they are newer distillery & currently offer a 4 yr aged bourbon along with other corn whiskey items."
"Great! Guide was awesome and staff was friendly and helpful! We loved that you could take drinks on the tour too! The only thing we wished we heard was more history on the actual prison too but we understand that their main priority is their liquor! We will definitely be recommending this place to friends and visitors!"
"We took a day tour at Southern Grace Distillery, and it was incredible. The history of it being a prison til 2011 and then Southern Grace taking over after it closed. We also got to go back at night for a paranormal investigation"
