"This place has my heart.. I LOVE THIS LAND!!! IF ONLY Catawba Land Conservancy actually cared and took care of the trail. Maybe even cleaned it up some, that would be nice. Or even put out trash buckets, like I offered to do and collect, but got rejected. And for those people with broken hands who are able to carry their drinks and snacks down the trail, if you could take your trash with you, that would be great! No one cleans this trail, other than people like you and me, who come to walk and enjoy the land. We're the cleaners. So, please be considerate of others, their pets, and the wildlife that lives on this property. As well as the property owners, who allow us to use their land. At least for the moment. NO ONE wants to walk a littered trail. Or to hobble away with a slashed foot or paw. If you see glass or trash that can be ingested, please pick it up! It's THAT EASY! It doesn't matter where it is OR how it got there! Jam a trash bag in your pocket, and be prepared!!! Help to keep this stress relieving trail clean!! So, it continues to stay beautiful and STRESS FREE. It helps those of us, that truly care, to walk and enjoy the trail, in lieu of soley searching for trash.... (which jacks us up because after years of cleaning up after others on this trail, we shouldn't have to! It IS relieving to see that others care, too.) DON'T LITTER - ANYWHERE!!! Who thought it still needed to be said. We're adults that should know this!!! BE BETTER!"
