Reviews
"2nd time here. Small lake, hiking trails. Some sites are very unlevel. Peaceful. Big rigs should watch for overhead branches on the way in Stayed in site 37 with a 36 ft class c. Not much privacy. Will be better when the trees leaf."
"This is a great State Park. Well taken care of. Lots of different things to do here as well as bring your horses along for a camping trip and horse back riding."
"I hate rating this place so high because I want to keep it to myself. My daughter and I love hiking the trails and running into horses. The grounds at the living history museum are well maintained and the horses usually walk up to the fence to say hello."
"We absolutely loved it here! Beautiful land beautiful walk! Great learning the history I didn't even realize was there! Go with the family or go for a quite walk, either way it's great!"
"This little history farm didn't have much going on when I visited early March. Everything was closed. There was still a lot to see without going inside the buildings. I enjoyed seeing the horses and the donkey. The volunteers there are very nice, and they answered all my questions about the horses and the donkey. The Farm trail was a little creepy feel, because it goes through and under the power lines. Never really like being near power lines. We stopped by here as our last stop before we head home from our vacation, and my pups were already tired from all the hiking we did during our trip. They were too tired for us to stop by the military park. I will definitely stop by here again and hopefully it will be more eventful."
