Skagit YMCA: Y Kids @ Whitney Early Learning Center

Skagit YMCA: Y Kids @ Whitney Early Learning Center is located at 1200 M Street in Anacortes, Washington, United States. With over a dozen sites serving children from infancy to 5th grade, Skagit Y Childcare is dedicated to meeting the unique needs of families in our diverse Skagit community. Our programs provide a safe environment for children to learn, grow, and develop positive values. Our qualified staff focus on each child's safety and personal development, instilling values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility.

Y Early Learning Centers cater to children aged 1 month to 6 years, expanding imaginations and preparing children for kindergarten. Both part-time and full-time care options are available, and our centers work closely with local school districts to ensure readiness for school. DSHS subsidies and scholarships are accepted, and families with a Family Membership at the Skagit Y receive a discount on program fees.

Y Blended Preschool, in partnership with the Sedro-Woolley School District, focuses on the developmental needs of children aged 3-4 years, promoting problem-solving skills and kindness. Y School-Age programs offer before- and after-school care for children in grades K-5, providing homework support, physical activity, snacks, and enrichment activities. All programs are licensed by the Department of Children, Youth, and Family, and subsidies and scholarships are available for qualifying families.

The Skagit Valley Family YMCA is a 501(C)(3) Non-Profit Organization, dedicated to creating positive community change through relationships and empowering the mind, body, and spirit of all members. Donations are tax-exempt, and the YMCA partners with other nonprofit organizations to serve the Skagit Valley community.
