"I read these happy reviews, my experience with Judd was just the opposite. No cost controls, poor quality tile sub, and now a major water problem 2 years later caused by his carpenters driving deck screws and 4”x1/4” lag screws through the brand new rubber membrane roof they had just installed. The damage was hidden for two years but water always wins. Judd took a look at it and walked away claiming zero responsibility. I live in Biltmore Forest, this was a major remodel done to our 1925 brick colonial. Extra, in response to Judd: let’s start with the special screws, oops they were not short enough as 520 of them penetrated through the 2x4’s. Next, the nice review in 2020 came after a similar situation where I had to express my experiences on Google. After Judd Jr’s father came over to finish up the job, out of respect to him I deleted my negative review. If things ever go bad with these guys, they will do you wrong. This gross incompetence is going to cost $30,000 to fix, sadly we are going to have to take this up a notch."
