"The building may be small, but its historic nature lends itself worthy of recognition. It's also the oldest active church located in a national forest (Pisgah National Forest). My understanding is that the congregation is small, too ... roughly 45-50. Plenty of parking and wheelchair accessible. Our family was recently there for my uncle's funeral. The service was incredible and the people were so nice. It's right near the water / walking path so it's worth stopping by if you're in the area."
