Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Tacoma Puyallup

"Excellent service at the front desk. This is one of the better locations between Olympia and Seattle; I've stayed at almost all of them. Other than that... It seems all Marriott locations kinda gave up on hospitality and amenities since 2020. Many locations' breakfast buffet is one of the bare bones practically "continental breakfast". Frozen and reheated food, packaged food. This location did keep the coffee full, which seems to be against policy at some locations. No housekeeping. Even when I stay over a week, most locations only offer housekeeping twice during the 7+ days, and just changing towels and making the bed. The carpets almost always have sticky spots somewhere meaning I can't take my shoes off and relax. How did the hospitality industry forget what hospitality means? I guess it's getting in the way of profit margins. Yes, I'm probably judging them harshly, but I travel more than 50% of my time, already 37 nights this year (review posted 2/29/2024). Marriott hotels is my second home. I'm exhausted and unfortunately I've come to expect cut-rate quality."

"My family stayed here on a visit up Nevada. What a clean , safe and well maintained property. Their room was amazing with great views. Bathroom large, comfortable beds and complimentary breakfast. We also got to have all the family over to swim in the pool and enjoy the Jacuzzi. We will definitely have any visitors stay here when visiting us in Tacoma."

"As far as hotels go this was nicely decorated and well cleaned. There are always quirks that each customer picks on, and ice machine that doesn't work, the spa and pool not being available or beds being just to hard. All in all a pleasant experience and there complementary breakfast was definitely worthwhile."

"This hotel’s employees are incredibly nice. This morning, we got a little late to the breakfast lounge but Ms. Faitele gladly let us get more food and didn’t make us feel awkward even for a little. She and Ms. Cynthia from the kitchen helped out two other folks who were also a little late. The lady on the front desk last night and the staff that I encountered in the elevator were very considerate. This shows that the management is reliable and will treat their customers kindly."
