Revival Wheeler Mansion
About the Business
Revival Wheeler Mansion is a historic and architecturally stunning bed and breakfast located at 75 East Main Street in Orange, Massachusetts, United States. Originally built in 1903 as a private residence for industrialist John W Wheeler and his wife Almira, the mansion has a rich history and is rumored to be haunted. After serving as a rest home for the Ladies of the Order of the Eastern Star, the property fell into disrepair before being purchased and restored by Cynthia Butler in 2020.
Guests can enjoy a stay at this beautiful property, which offers a glimpse into the North Quabbin history and the Gilded Age. The mansion is also available for small gatherings with a maximum capacity of 49 guests. All are welcome at Revival Wheeler Mansion, regardless of background or beliefs, and the venue is LGBTQIA friendly.
The property features a hedge maze and expansive garden, making it the perfect setting for a variety of events. To support the restoration efforts and bring the mansion back to its former glory, The Revival Society, Inc. has been established as a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. The society's mission is to preserve and maintain the mansion through repairs, upgrades, and community-based events.
Join us for community events such as the Easter Egg Hunt, Orange Pumpkin Festival, and Santa at the Mansion. Your support is crucial in helping us preserve this historic treasure for future generations. Donations to The Revival Society, Inc. are tax-deductible, and a tax acknowledgment letter will be provided for your records. "I have lived in town all my life and never thought I would see this beautiful home brought back to life !!! I had never been in but took a tour the end of December 2023. It is beautiful inside . The rooms are amazing . I was much in awe ! Cynthia is an excellent tour guide and has really done her homework on her beautiful home . The outside is just as nice with a fenced in garden type area in the back with a recently made maze area. What a wonderful setting for parties ,weddings, get togethers, anything you can think of . She is a treasure to this town and I thank her for all she is doing . If you have a chance to stay or tour please do it !!!! You won't be disappointed."

"I first attended a Christmas tour in 2022, and was absolutely blown away. The restoration is magnificent, and the owner could not be more charming and engaging. I've returned for events including the 120th Anniversary Party, the Christmas 2023 tour, Pumpkin Fest and Starry Starry Night (New Year's 2024). Amazing venue!"
"I've been a resident of Orange for over 60 years and have been past the Wheeler Mansion more time than I could count. A couple weeks ago I was lucky enough to finally see the inside. Sinde Butler gave an awesome tour of her home. The inside of the mansion is simply beautiful. Ms Butler has but in so much work since coming to town. I highly recommend anyone that has the chance to attend an event there you will love it. And Ms Butler is an amazing host!"
