"Pretty loop, river is gorgeous, scenery is pretty. Perfect place to take the dog for a walk or go for a run. There is a construction material lot next door so lots of big machine noises (this is on one end of the loop). Portajohns are locate on one side as well."
"Absolutely love this greenway! The area is so beautiful! Easily accessible, easy to walk. It is a beautiful, tree lined paved path that runs along the Catawba River. There are two docks for fishing or viewing the river, and plenty of spots to access the riverbank to fish. Tubing guides are nearby if you want to ride the river. It's a joy to catch a glimpse of the deer, rabbits, egrets, or wild turkey feeding along the banks of the river or one of the fields along the path. The greenway is my happy place, my place to unwind and destress."
"Beautiful area for walking, running, biking, even skating, and fishing. Absolutely love the greenway. An easy 1 3/4 mile (approximately) from one end to the other. There's always a chance you'll get to see some splendid wildlife like deer, cranes, or rabbits, and frogs that serenade your evening walk. It is a nice paved walkway and is well maintained. Very enjoyable!"
"One of the nicest walking trails around! We took a pleasant afternoon stroll on the greenway and we were amazed at what a great job they had done with it. The pathway was paved and level making it an easy walk. There are trees overhanging the path so it was nice and cool even though it was a warm sunny day. Along the way they had plaques marking some of the indigenous trees to identify them for you. The path went along the bank of the Catawba river, and we came to a viewing platform that let you look into the river. I believe that the greenway is about 3 1/2 miles long. We didn’t have time to walk the entire way and back. But we will definitely visit again!"
"It's a nice little trail to walk or jog on. Only 4/5 because this area is prone to flooding every time a storm comes since it's by the Catawba river, and the greenway closes almost every time. Parking is an issue since the last big storm washed away a bridge over a year ago and to this day it has not been fixed, this an entire parking lot is closed off to the public. Parking behind in Sonic can be a major hassle if it's a very nice day to be out because of that."
