"Even if your unemployed due to physical issues and want to just use the pool the lowest they bring it is 35. I need aqua therapy and was recommended I start swimming regularly but even the "cheap" option is to much. I was told ymca was good if your low income so this just sucks."

"The new YMCA gym is objectively worse than the old Everett YMCA, but largely because of new policies. The swimming bracelet policy turns a swim session into an evening-long affair, where you used to just be able to show up, swim, and leave. They stopped providing towels because of COVID lockdown and haven't resumed it. Why even stay open as a gym if that's their stance? This is the most basic amenity at any gym with a pool and should absolutely be provided considering the cost of membership. Also, closing at 4 on Saturday? What the heck? The equipment is nice and everything, but the new rules are a hassle. I'm probably not going to renew my family membership. I miss the old facility."

"Wonderful facility, great people that work there, and a caring kids club. Lockers rooms could use more attention in the area of cleanliness and the life guards could be more kind and pro active. But overall, a great experience!"

"Facility is always clean, the staff are great, always helpful and enthusiastic. The programs for Seniors are created to keep mind and body healthy and active with many different levels to pick and challenge yourself from. I'm a better person for having joined!"

"My husband, 3 year old son and I have been coming to the Everett family YMCA for almost a year. Pros: -Rookie sports -Swim lessons -Group exercise classes -Kids Zone -Kids park right outside of the facility -Great exercise facilities for people of all ages -Plenty of parking -Splash zone Cons: -Facility closes at 5pm on the weekends. -Kids Zone is not available on Sundays. -The pool and the changing rooms are very cold! My son starts shivering after ~ 15 minutes in the pool and has a hard time getting through the 30 minute swimming lesson because he is too cold. -Open swim is not available after the swim lessons. It only opens in the afternoon, so we have to go home for nap time and then return to the YMCA later in the day if we want to have our son participate in open swim time. We come on Saturdays, so I am not sure if it is different during the week. -Group swim lessons are scheduled back to back, so there are way too many people in the changing rooms at the same time. Overall, our experience has been positive, but there are some inconveniences/room for improvement. We have not had any issues with the staff, as others seem to have had. Everyone has been friendly and helpful."
