"Having grown up in Florida but being gone for many years, I longed to get back to the beautiful Forgotten Coast of the Panhandle. However, with the increasing intensity of tropical storms and hurricanes and the corresponding devastation to property and life, my husband and I began to seriously question whether there was any reasonable and safe way to move back home. We had all but given up on this dream until learning about the incredible track record of the hurricane resistant engineered Deltec Homes. Over a period of four years from our first encounter to our last, everyone has been exceedingly knowledgeable, efficient and very focused on making the build to completion go smoothly! As first-time home builders we were very concerned that once the shell was purchased, we would be on our own to navigate any issues that might occur. Our fears were completely unfounded! Shortly after our Deltec package was delivered to our property, there were shell assembly missteps by our local builder that required the re-engagement of the Deltec team. Our project manager Mark, senior engineer Matt and designer Dylan made themselves fully available to assist us at no additional cost. Importantly, they continued to be as responsive to our needs as they were before we purchased the home! EVERY phone call, email or text was returned promptly, usually on the same business day. For a company that has customers around the globe, Deltec acts like your finest hometown builder and has far exceeded our expectations!"

"Deltec homes are phenomenally well designed and built. I can’t praise them enough! The round shape gently directs the wind around the house, so there's no rattling of windows or gutters and no noise from storms, unless of course the rain is sideways and hitting the windows. Our Crescent Chalet model Deltec is two stories and we have a metal roof, so we don’t hear the rain unless we go upstairs. It is so quiet and peaceful in our house. I never hear the neighbor’s dogs barking, which kept me awake may nights in our old house (15 feet from our Deltec) that we built the Deltec to replace. We love our Deltec and couldn’t be happier with all of the wonderful, knowledgeable people we worked with at Deltec. They made it a pleasure every step of the way. I have chemical and electrical sensitivities and allergies that can trigger life threatening reactions, so we needed to build our house without material that would make me ill or worse. The Deltec design team totally understood and helped us design a beautiful, safe, healthy home. I am so grateful to and for them. I love the out of doors but allergies often keep me from going outdoors. Deltec helped us design a home loaded with windows so I can be indoors but enjoy the beauty of the natural world outdoors. What a blessing! Our Deltec home is definitely built to last and has withstood the worst of storms. Hurricane Ida destroyed a few homes and properties in our neighborhood and flooded the basements or first floors of others. It was so bad that huge sections of our road were actually washed away (as in…nothing left but huge ditches, one was 2/10ths of a mile long and 10 - 15 feet deep) and most of our driveways were washed out. Despite the fact that we live on farm with wide open space surrounded by wooded lots so the wind gets funneled onto and through our property, our Deltec has not sustained any damage in any storm even Ida, that packed incredibly intense winds that took down hundreds of trees along with the aforementioned damage. I should mention that our Deltec is not only energy efficient but it is absolutely beautiful! Everyone who walks into our house for the first time is stunned by how beautiful it is….and the only word they can get out is WOW! Every time most people enter after that, their first words are either This house is so beautiful, or I love this house. I agree 100% I totally recommend the Deltec company, employees and product."
