"This is a tough review because I understand what Marriott is trying to do with the Moxy brand. The plus, great breakfast food. Unfortunately, this hotel did not meet other expectations. I was traveling for business and the music and the lobby was so loud we had to go elsewhere to converse. My room was incredibly small with only a folding table off the wall barely big enough to hold my laptop. Not enough room to work. I had several stained towels in my bathroom. (The front desk did apologize). Also, be aware there's absolutely no parking for your car. The staff was not super helpful in coming up with a creative solution for my car."

"Moxy is a “hip” low end Marriott property. It is clean and relatively cheap. This one is true to form. Small and efficient rooms. Great location in South Lake Union (Amazon) district. Free parking on street and in the Amazon parkade on evenings and weekends is a perk."

"Really cool and modern hotel. They gave us two free drink tickets when we checked in and staff upfront was really nice. We really liked our room and the design of the bathroom. We left for a while and came back and the lights were pink/red toned and the bar was pretty busy so it felt like we were at a club because of the music. They had games to play in the lobby and the wings were bomb. I’d stay here again for the vibe. People looking for a basic hotel would be better booking elsewhere but if you’re looking for somewhere you could hang out/drink and mingle with other people, this would be a good place. There was also issues with parking because we brought a truck but with a small car there are places nearby. Saturday after 6 pm is free on the road in certain areas and Sunday is free so it worked out for us to park in another open spot until we were able to move the car. Close to other areas to walk to eat and shop at."

"Excellent work location as it is located conveniently a couple of blocks from my office building. The lobby is fun and hip - I saw a lot of office HH gatherings after work hours. I got a free drink voucher at check-in for the bar to use during my stay. The rooms are pretty good but are on the small side. They had a little fold-up desk rather than a full desk so it’s not very comfortable to work at. Docking a star because the first room I got had stained duvet blanket but I was able to go down and change to a different room. The decor is very industrial chic, a little on the kitschy side. The ceiling is exposed concrete which made the room feel very cold and too warehouse-like. No central air - there is a heat and AC unit in the room but the control settings available are a little lacking. However, the shower water pressure is great with lots of hot water."

"Tiny rooms, no coffee maker, no clock, and no wardrobe in the room. There was a desk in the wall, but no chair - unless they expect you to sit on the leather luggage rack? Breakfast is a waste of money if you're intolerant of gluten, since all they had were pastries and bread. I managed to have a fruit cup once and a parfait another morning, but I don't think it was worth the extra $$. They apparently only clean your room every other day?? Nobody told me this at check-in. They came into my room and gave me another face wipe and folded up my bath mat, but didn't make my bed or empty the trash. Why even bother coming in the room? They said they would deliver my Amazon pkg deliveries to my room, but never did. I had to go downstairs 4 times to pick up each small package since they couldn't seem to find all of them at once. The staff is very young and extremely casual. Several were not particularly friendly, and they were definitely not "professional". The guests are also very young and it has a party atmosphere throughout. Feels more like a hostel than a hotel. I would not recommend this place for anyone over age 40 or for families with children (the bar doubles as the desk check in). The walls are thin - I could hear alarms going off every 15 minutes from about 5am till 7am. The shower was nice enough, and the bed was comfortable."
