Reviews
"it was informative."
"This is the home of General (and President) Ulysses S. Grant in the waning days of the Civil War. Sadly, this is a private home, and not open to the public. The attached photos are all that you will see of the house. Grant was heading to this house on April 14, 1865, the night on which Abraham Lincoln was assassinated. History buffs can take consolation in seeing this house still standing. The Grant Cottage at 991 (or 995) Ocean Ave. in Long Branch, NJ was destroyed in the early 1960's. The Grant Home in Galena, IL, and the Grant Cottage in Gansevoort, NY are available to the public."
