"Not too many places this old left in the United States. Most of the structure dates to the 1760's. On top of that, they frequently hold re-enactments. Lots of history can be learned here from a period people forget about."

Dressed in period clothing with muskets, etc. Every volunteer who spoke to us was knowledgeable, engaging and fascinated us with their detailed stories. Truly. Well worth the visit. We learned a lot and were truly moved by what our ancestors did for us!"
"The tour was nice and informative. The Museum is in A great area with other museums close by and plenty of outdoor viewing area and local parks. Parking is free in the municipal lot which is close by, about a two minute walk and the restrooms are clean. There is also A cute little gift shop and a short historical film available to watch in a small viewing room. I definitely recommend checking this place out."
