Reviews
"A beautiful, quaint little property!! I would love to live here. Nestled in a valley between the mountain tops sits Miller Farmstead. You can walk the grounds and picture how hard, yet how beautifully simple life must have been. There are gardens, a horse, chickens, apple trees, and farm buildings to explore. At the top of the property there is also a lookout spot, a cemetery, and a butterfly garden (in the warmer months)."
"It's refreshing to step back into 1870! Our dog Diesel wanted to play with the rescued horse there as well as the chickens. Peace and quiet with butterflies..."
"This place is fantastic even when the fall colors aren't in bloom yet!! We went there yesterday (10-15), and the colors of tge foliage was awesome! The history of the place is really neat too! Don't forget to say hi to all the chickens (Don't worry...they will come to YOU!), and stop by the stable and say hi to Lily. She's a lively 25-year old horse who is spending her final days resting and relaxing at the Farmstead."
"Historic farmhouse that is mostly the same as it was around 1910 with some furnishings and family photos. Hiking trails spur off from parking lot as well."
"Beautifully preserved and well maintained by the TN park service. Well worth a stop on your way up Roan Mountain."
