Reviews of Liberty Hall
"The iconic Liberty Bell which is housed in Philadelphia Pennsylvania in 1777 September 23rd the Liberty Bell was being moved out of Philadelphia to be hidden in Allentown and overnight on the 23rd of September they hid the Larry Bell behind this building. Then the bell moved on to Allentown to the Zion Church where they hit it in the basement. The bell was moved out of Philadelphia along with other prominent bells cuz the British had a bad habit of melting bells down for ammunition so it being a symbol they moved it and some other historic bells out of Philadelphia and hid them up in Allentown. The town Quakertown sells full of history wonderful history clearly history at the underground railroad the John freeze rebellion and the Quakertown Historical society and the visitor center located on North Main Street are very accommodating and a lot of brochures and you can take walking tours they have brochures it'll let you walk around town and see the historic sites. So if you're ever around Quakertown I would definitely take time to visit the visitor center and historic Red Lion Inn Liberty Hall desert center does have Pampers we can walk on your own tours and tour some of the historic properties. A well worth trip."
"The historic factor alone makes this early colonial home worth visiting! Not to mention it is in a beautiful location for perusing around Quakertown! It was the first residence in The Borough as well as the site where The Liberty Bell was hidden during The Revolutionary War before making it's way to Allentown!"
"This tiny building is older than the US, having been built in 1772. It is known as one of the places where the Liberty Bell was hidden from British forces during the American Revolution."
"Nice way to see Colonial architecture. It's also where the Liberty Bell was hidden one night on its way to Allentown to be hidden from the British. However I didn't see any way to tour the building or get inside. Didn't see any parking either. Best bet is to just drive by it."
"I live next to this place and it's always popping up on my Google. I would rate this 10 for annoying. And well if you like to see bells there's one here. I am pretty sure the liberty stayied a night here on it's way to its destination as it was being hidden from France. I think they where melting everything to make bullets or something not sure.. ahh well"
