Reviews of The Eagle Harbor Inn
"The location is great, and the room (port Blakely) was spacious. But the fundamental issue is that the building is not well built and absolutely everything that happens all around you is fully audible. I could hear my upstairs neighbor pull his car into the parking lot at 1 am, enter the building, walk all over his room and take a shower and I knew when he went to bed at 1:30. I also knew when he got up again at 7:30. It goes without saying I have never been so tired on a vacation. Plus the coffee and tea amenities are located in a ‘lobby’ / common space outside the room so every time anyone went for a beverage I knew that too. Also I found the ‘patio’ description a bit misleading as it’s not a private patio; just a set of doors that opens into a space anyone can access. I definitely would not stay here again. It was a disappointment."
"We stayed for one night in the Port Blakely Room, and found it to be exceptionally comfortable and the absence of a formal check in procedure to be very convenient."
"Stayed in the Harbor Townhome, amazing!! Couldn’t have picked a better place to stay. Met and exceeded our expectations. We will be back for sure."
"EHI is perfectly located within walking distance to the ferry, great restaurants, shopping, strolling and art galleries, etc. Each room is different and unique; great care was taken with the decor and design. It’s charming and comfortable. A limited number of rooms means it’s wise to book in advance. We’ve stayed here several times and noticed this time that there are some things that need refreshing. Our room smelled stale and musty upon arrival. We’re hoping things will improve now that guests can visit post-COVID shut downs. Eagle Harbor Inn really is a gem and we want to see it thrive!"
"We loved our stay at the Eagle Harbor Inn. The owner went the extra MILE to accommodate my “special-needs” We stayed in the Rockaway Beach Room. The room was spacious, with just enough decoration, but not overkill. The mattress, bedding and towels are deluxe! Ditto on the soaps and shampoos. We appreciated the off street parking. The location is “spitting distance” from the waterfront marina, view restaurants and waterfront stroll. It’s also just one block from the west side of the downtown commercial district. In other words, just park your car at the hotel and go! We will return!"
