"I needed to call for a coverage renewal, so I figured I could try calling the coverage line. Her name was Leticia Sanchez. She was incredibly rude, and she mocked me. There are other ways of telling someone that they called the wrong number."
"Worst insurance ever for the specialty pharmacies to work with. I have been in the medical field for 20 years and have worked with every insurance out there and now work for a pharmacy and trying to get Synagis 50mg and 100mg for a patient and oh my goodness."
"Wow I've read some of these reviews and a lot of very unhappy people!! Well I live in a very small rural town and the hospital takes this plan but not my eye doctor. But I'm on a fixed income so this is my Medicare Medicare advantage plan. I used to have United healthcare but their customer service is horrible I mean like they don't even get a one they get a negative 1,000. You can't understand them and it's really frustrating. So I thought this plan is only in Washington But now I got a letter in the mail with a booklet telling me that my dual complete plan is going to be no more in January and they put me on some other plan. Probably because I live in a Mayberry type of town and maybe a lot of people aren't getting I tried to call and talk to someone today and I got this really nice woman but she couldn't answer any questions because they were still going through training and they were not allowed to talk about it which is stupid why did you send me a notice? And why did you put me on another plan that maybe I didn't want to be on So I guess I'll have to go with United healthcare. I don't really like them because their own by"
"Do not use this insurance company. After being in progressive pain in my lumbar for the last 40 years, 6 mos ago I finally got got a doctor to approve a MRI. Also over these 40 years, I have gone to multiple PTs and Chiropractors that has only given me a small amount of temporary relief. The MRI showed multiple health issues; scoliosis, foraminal stenosis, slipped disc and more in multiple disc. My doctor referred me to a pain clinic and they recommended to start with a epidural. It was denied by Community Health. Unless I do PT for four week. I did that and now it's in appeal. I can only stand or walk for about 10 to 15 minutes and has greatly affected my quality of life. I will be reporting this again to the Washington Insurance Commissioner. Too many games. I'm sure they assumed I couldn't have afforded the $40 deductible which came to $320. And then I'm gone. I have called their Appeals Department, but they have conveniently not gotten back to me. It's a disgrace. Got a reply back from CHPW advising me to call their customer service. I have called their customer service and he just gaslighted me. Telling me I'm not keeping up with my appointments with my main provider which was a lie. I am up to date. And that I have high blood pressure which I no longer have. And maybe if I could stand and walk for more than 10 to 15 minutes I wouldn't have to be a blood pressure medicine. And what did that have to do with anything. I finally after another appeal and filing a grievance with Medicare I got another injection. According to Doctors that I have talked to, this is standard procedure to get injections, and then make a decision if more help is needed. They have charged me copays that I don't owe (I have a credit) and didn't even send me a bill last month. Thank goodness I remembered and paid it. And on the final acceptance on the appeal they told me I am responsible for all copays and deductibles. No kidding. I believe they are hoping I can no longer afford these procedures and drop it. It has been almost 5 months trying get get help for something that should have taken weeks. And this may be ongoing and I would like it taken care of in a reasonable amount of time instead of being harassed."
"This has to be the worst insurance company ever. They employ people that have zero business working in any job that requires thought or customer service. If you have to be on state insurance use someone else. They treat their providers like dirt and make it nearly impossible to get paid. Currently my wife is owed over $10K and is about to drop half of her clients because of failure for insurance to pay. Good job CHPW you are about to leave 17 people without mental health coverage. Update: After hours and hours back and forth between my wife, her biller, and CHPW....they were able to reach a CSR named Heather who deserves 5 stars and because of her I added 1 star to the review...once back pay and continuous payments are received I may or may not add another star. Thank you Heather for your assistance. Everything has finally worked out with CHPW and billing. I stand by my 3-star review because CHPW is still a subpar insurance company."
