"Quite cool. I was in the neighborhood to hike to Unknown Pond, and my Mom asked me to stop in Stark and take a few pics. Long big bridge with walkways on both sides, and it's lit up. An old church is there and what looked like another community building. It's definitely worth stopping. It's probably decent fishing in the river."
"Beautiful location to seek out, with a stunning journey around it. I saw a picture of Stark in a magazine 30 years ago (with no caption of where it was), and I decided some day I would figure out where it was, and go there. It took me awhile to find it, and then to have the right timing to make the trip in fall colors. It's not just Stark itself that makes the trip worth it, it's all of the towns, scenic stops, bridges and bodies of water you come across on the drive through the New Hampshire mountains. We hit Maine too, and had a side helping of Vermont. You can make a several day road trip of it. It's all surreal, like driving and walking through a story book. #bucketlist"
"Nice well kept covered bridge. Must me really pretty in the winter. Pretty town too."
"Absolutely gorgeous little village. There is also a statue and marker honoring General John Stark, a hero of the American Revolution."
"Really want an experience? Climb the Devil's Slide cliff face behind the bridge and view the village from above. Really great in the fall and Christmas time."
